Apr 8th 2011 10:25AM There are so many reasons- bpa and whatever other toxins might leach from plastics is a concern.
Aside from the health concerns, stainless doesn't leave have that icky plastic taste, and it keeps your drink at the temperature you like it.

Nov 29th 2010 1:06PM When the girls were little they woke up and caught daddy eating Santa's fudge! They just knew that leaving fudge with the cookies was why they got such great presents so were in a panic. I whipped up a quick batch before scooting them off to bed and funnily enough in place of daddy's stocking was a little mesh one filled with coal that said you've been naughty on it.
To this day, we love this story and never stop reminding each other not to eat Santa's fudge.

Nov 12th 2010 4:44AM Nice, I don't know that I deserve a night out more than anyone else but my world got turned upside down when my husband got put on permanent disability a few months ago and *extras* like a night out with the girls just don't happen, ever. He just found out that he'll be getting Social Security starting Jan 1 so that'll be another big cut in the budget. Add in 5 dogs, 4 kids and a grandson and the $500 to do something for me with my girls would be a major blessing right about now.
