Feb 7th 2011 10:13AM My teenage children said it so well, "Oh my, what a disaster!"
Feb 4th 2011 9:31PM Valentines Day is the biggest day for detective services.
Nov 22nd 2010 11:03AM I think it is nice this year to have someone who isn't a shoe in on DWTS.
It isn't a contest if only the best dancers win as there are only a few real dancers on the show.
Never have seen the show, but might watch this week to cheer on the underdog.
Nov 18th 2010 9:46PM I take responsibility for my own life and my financial life. I dont need the government taking care of me.
Retirement at 65 was perfect when men died at 67 and women died at 73. Today, we live a lot longer than the years of our grand parents.
I have a family member who reitried at 55 and has received a pension from GM for more years than he actually worked for the company. And, he has recived SS benefits significantly greater than he ever "paid into" SS. Why should any company or any government pay people to live? Survival isnt the responsibility of a govt but of the individual.
Take control of your life. Take responsibility for your life. Don't expect anyone else to be your safety net.
As James Bond would say, "Live and Let Die."
Nov 6th 2010 3:39PM I found the comments most interesting. As a moderate liberal I noticed that those arguing against the movie stated more factual insight while the supporters grabbed for generic hateful comments toward the Bush era.
For the record my operational definition of being a moderate liberal means that I liked Regan and Clinton but disagree with Carter and Obama.
Bush received a lot more bashing than Obama and always maintained dignity while Obama takes everything personal. Clinton maintained decorum when he was attacked even for his infidelity.
Nov 5th 2010 4:48PM Ouch!
Nov 5th 2010 4:45PM They will probably join the liberal wagon asking the rich to pay more taxes.
I doubt if a job at the local pub will pay enough to make up for the decline in gross revenue.
Nov 3rd 2010 8:47PM Nothing looks worse than a tattoo that has been stretched by a baby and then shrunk after birth.
Visualize a piece of art pulled apart with a sea of stretch marks.
Oct 29th 2010 11:13AM Enjoy life! Put fewer rules and laws in place designed only to frustrate and agitate individuals especially teens. When you put in laws against trick or treating you only create more desire to break the law.
We enjoy dressing up as a family in a them. This year we delve into the theme of the Chilean Miners. My husband has his name tag as Senior Cheater.
I never liked Halloween as a child and had no desire to trick or treat after age 9. Others enjoy being child-like for a few more years and I proclaim, "more trick-or-treat power to them!"
Those who find it offensive must take time to find their inner peace and savor the joys of life. For me, running door to door for a piece of candy was more work than going out and buying the candy myself.
Have funj! Smile!
Oct 29th 2010 12:47AM I'm slightly confused as when I flew out of SEA last week Delta is now at the old Northwest area (S concourse I believe) and Alaskan planes are parked at the opposite end of the terminal (N concourse I believe). Southwest, Continental and a few other airlines leave out of areas that separate the two airlines. Does anyone know if my memory is correct?
I must be mistaking but when I first read the article I couldnt figure out how the Delta and Alaska could be that close.
For the record, I hate those evacuations. Been there. Done that.
