First Drive: 2011 Ford Edge {Autoblog}
Aug 23rd 2010 9:26PM I guess I don't understand how this will be much different than the upcoming Ford Explorer. Why would they make two vehicles that are so similar in one model year?

WSJ: Big 3 seeking $25 billion from Feds {Autoblog}
Aug 24th 2008 11:35PM How about using a few billion to develop alternative technologies? Giving the US Automobile industry a loan is not the answer. I bet with a few billion of investment, we could create the next generation
of automobile manufacturers that would actually build vehicles that are environmentally friendly and cost the US taxpayers less to drive. Who knows, we might reduce our dependence on foreign oil at the same
time.
We need to rethink our tarriffs on imports too. Our trading partners are paying their employess to little money and are able to produce products at a much lower price than we are able to here in the US.
We should establish tarriffs that evens out the competition and levels the playing field. Or, we could only do business with countries that meet certain requirements, wheter it be environmental,
societal, economic, etc...

Obama pledges $4b in aid for Detroit automakers {Autoblog}
Aug 19th 2008 10:32PM I think this is the first thing Obama has specifically detailed as part of his plan. He is for change and not change for the better, in my opinion. Wait until you learn more about his true beliefs, if he ever talks about them. In the meantime, you faygs can stop suking him off.

Aug 19th 2008 10:29PM Instead of protecting and providing a subsidy to a certain company, lets throw a few billion $$ at develpoing efficient technologies. These technologies could provide a boom to the economy and could help us americans at the same time.
The USA has done a bad job of establishing free trade rules. We buy way too much from countries that fund their "private" industries, thus creating a situation where we are forced to do the same in order to be competitive in the world market. This is going to ultimately spell disaster for the USA. Manufacturing is mostly overseas now and it is only going to get worse as more and more companies are moving manufacturing capacities offshore. In fact, many corporations are moving their companies offshore to avoid paying corporate taxes in the USA. This will leave us, the taxpayer, to pay the bills in the future. Being an american is going to be very expensive and will be something to be ashamed of..
Dallas HOA prohibits parking F-150 in driveway; Lincoln Mark LT allowed {Autoblog}
Aug 19th 2008 9:33PM If this infuriates you, wait until you see what types of controls and restrictions the democrats and secret socialists are slowly instituting within our free society.
Dallas HOA prohibits parking F-150 in driveway; Lincoln Mark LT allowed {Autoblog}
Aug 19th 2008 9:23PM This guy has a good case. He needs to make sure that the national media is aware of how the HOA is behaving. Boortz, Hannity, and Dennis Miller would have a blast running this story into the ground.
If he is forced to let the courts sort it out, he has a good case. Allowing some certain brands of similar vehicles and not others will most definitely be viewed as discriminatory by any judge or jury.
Some of you seem to think that the only people who buy F-150 trucks do so in order to facilitate some manual labor. I use mine to do numerous things when I am not engaging in manual labor. It seems to do pretty well when driving to the airport full of luggage and friends and looks pretty damn good parked next to my King Air 300. My F-150 seems to work fine for towing my 911 to the track on the weekends, and does one hell of a job towing the boat to the lake house too.
Many people do use F-150s for manual labor and guess what.. Many of these people earn more money than doctors or lawyers, and in many cases earn exponentially more. Do a little research and you will discover that most successful small business owners put the spending power of the doctors and lawyers to shame. What a buch of herk-offs.
Man claims prayer brought pump prices down {Autoblog}
Aug 19th 2008 9:11PM Dont forget to say some our fathers too.. I think that is the key to getting go to provide your selfish ass whatever you desire. This preacher should be focusing on praying for something that really matters. Maybe the millions of single mothers who have numerous children by different fathers and the huge number of his brothers, who are rotting in prison.
