Apr 23rd 2008 1:12PM Err ... why is wearing animal skin so terrible? Humans have been doing it for eons. If you have one hide bag, and use it for years, it's a smaller environmental impact that using and tossing half a dozen fake-leather purses. And straw purses don't really hold up well.
Not to say Gucci is a green company, but ....
