Jun 18th 2008 12:39PM ^^^ good points all around - i always wondered about SOME of those people with the yellow wristbands - aside from the $1 they used to 'support' 'buy' it .. what else? and then what? ... i just always figured the people that are really supporting don't have the energy or time to sit and decorate themselves each day and/or are that tired from distributing foods/building stuff, that if you showed them a cutsie bracelet they would most likely FLING IT RIGHT BACK TO YOU -- love the term - hope you don't mind me calling my deadbeat brother-in-law that with his wrist full of kabbal strings, yellow, pink, green wristbands .. you *beep*beep* slacktivist - go get a job, can't you see my sister is tired!? .. whew .. i need a drink .. is it lunch yet? ...

Jun 18th 2008 12:33PM the drink sounds just delish!! would love to have a nice glass .. or... three of that cranberry mango :) in other news, that sun thing would drive me absolutely insane!! the sun just peeping through like that? oh heck no, that wouldn't work for me but with a couple bottles of this .. i guess, it'll always be 'almost nighttime' and wouldn't feel as much as a lush as i probably could get ...

Jun 17th 2008 9:44AM The economy is way past slumping - It has slumped and will get slumpier before the year is ovah! gas prices? fogetaboutit - I’m about to drive to Canada or Mexico JUST to fill up .. with that said, nothing will stop me from going to Mrs. Kim for my bi-monthly body scrubs - at $120 plus the $20 tip she insists on [a pop], I may have to work overtime two days a week just for this luxury - what I get for all of this? 2hours of complete bliss including a steam shower/sauna/dry sauna/body polish/back to steam shower/milk rinse/cucumber facial/hair washed and conditioned/brutal massage [I’m talking about Mrs. Kim and all her 4'10ft self standing on top of you kneading your back with her feet]/last body scrub/cucumber rinse/sesame oil lather.. yeah, I refuse to give that up, that’s my only alone time from family and friends and I feel so rejuvenated and ready to tackle the bill collectors :)

Jun 16th 2008 12:02PM I will tell you all this much, if I should be so lucky as to win the lotto or marry a billionaire [keeping fingers crossed as i gave this cute geriatric my # the other day] .. as i was saying, if I should come into money, this is the lifestyle I am willing and ready to settle in. If I'm flying to Japan, why would I choose to be stuck next to college kids talking over me or only being able to recline so far? heck yeah, i'm up there, sprawled out in my mini flat! .. another thing, just because america is seeing shytty economical days does not mean the beat of another euros have to be strapped because yours is .. get me :)

Jun 16th 2008 10:34AM ^^ yup - ugh and WhatThe? it's hideous and i don't even wear jewelery - eww .. came to mind - they just gave me a project idea for my afterschool kids to do - and it won't cost me more than $30.00! that's like 26/27 soda cans at .75cents plus a cheap gold necklace from Kmart [with the 70% off sale] $7.99 + $3.00 for spray paint supplies .. whoever buys this just wasted - $665!
