For someone to speak out because they feel they are missing opportunities because of their beliefs (because they are both such great talents...sic); and then to label others belief as lunatic. This is where people of faith should be living it as opposed to speaking about it. Actions are worth a million words!

May 5th 2011 9:34PM So if you really read this article, it is not about single women making bad mothers. Or about celebrity single mom's being capable parents. What it points out is a society scared that women are capable (both financially and emotionally) to achieve their dreams of motherhood without the need of a marriage. In fact the article all but states the need for a man is financial. Are these "Stars" supposed to feel bad because they can afford nannies, fine schools and a plush life without the help of a man? News flash, even the average woman can have the dream of motherhood if single. The lifestyle is just less extravagant. A working woman who uses a nanny or daycare...how is this different from a man working, wife staying home with the kids? (except that she does not get paid). Those who can make an issue about this should also be making an issue about men starting families at 60 years of age. Just cause you can, doesn't mean you should. However there are exceptions to every case.

It was because of Sarah Palin...she has my vote, she is one of the every day people, still unspoiled, and she will bring the people back in control instead of a handful corrupt politicians...ARE YOU FREAKIN' NUTS?
Just how is this woman considered "everyday people and unspoiled"? She is rich (filthy rich) and self-made famous now. She is so far away from everyday people cause she lives in her own little world where she rules and everyone only say 'yes' to her. And sheep like you Karen, keep fanning her super EGO. I would love to see her actually survive like the rest of us. Having to work a job (you cannot quit because bills need to be paid), without the help of a nanny or 'mommy Todd' (who would also have to be working to make ends meet). Vacations would consists of a local getaway (for a long weekend maybe) without camera's and someone else footing the bill. Open your eyes people, she is is playing you the same as other politicians...she just throws 'shucks' and 'you betcha' in front of her rhetoric. In fact, it is insulting that she feels she has to "dumb it down" to put herself on the "average" people level!

It was not a personal attack, just a "call out" of her actions and game play. Tick...tick...those 15 minutes are long over, move on Sarah!

Jan 25th 2011 12:49AM Bristol has not been living at home, she had her own apartment (decorated really nice to boot) which I guess she was able to afford from her exploitation of her situation and her name. I agree that the family is probably a hindrance in his relationship with his son, but if he was to man up and realize that it does not matter if he truly wants a relationship with his son now or in the future. Palins are too used to getting things their way, he should not make it so easy on this matter.

She is relying on getting married, so when her 15 minutes of fame is up and she cannot make money off her misfortune anymore, she can let her husband take care of her. Way to go Sarah! You raised a real winner here. She trashes her child's father in public rather taking the high road knowing these news bites remain forever and her son will only know what idiots both parents were (or will always be). Whether or not he signs custody over to her, he will always be the father. Maybe he does not visit because her family is intimidating or she is a shrew. We don't know the facts. Amazing how we are supposed to give her some slack because she was a teenage mom, but we don't extend the same to Levi. The Palins had no problem having him lie when it benefited them...to play a part in their contrived family unit for the media. Smartest thing he could ever do is refuse to give up rights to his son. Don't let the Palins bully you out of your role as a parent. Grow up and be present in your son's life...otherwise you will be portrayed as the devil and mommy as an angel. Takes two to tango...takes a family to manipulate...and an agenda to ruin lives.
