Charlie Sheen Scandals Leave 'Two and a Half Men' Fans Unfazed {PopEater}
Feb 9th 2011 6:18PM I wonder how Charlie's behavior influenced the young actor who has played the role of the nephew (Angus Jones). He has been in that cast and exposed to Sheen's BS throughout his young, impressionable years. I certainly hope his parents advised him to look at Charlie as an example of what not to do.
Glenn Beck Rally Raises Questions {AOL Hot Searches}
Aug 27th 2010 4:59PM What specifically are the "constitutional rights that we have lost"? All I hear from Glenn Beck/Fox News/right-wing folks is hatred from people who can't handle today's multi-ethnic world, so they want to turn back the clock to a time when minorities were abused and oppressed, where corporations could pollute and exploit resources, etc. (How do you think the BP spill happened?) I don't hear compassion, inclusion, consideration of the common good, or humanity. All I hear from the right wing is blind, ignorant, hatred... a kind of "we are great, and they are bad" kind of talk, and inflammatory language inciting people to violence. And they call themselves patriots???! That's not patriotism! All that kind of stuff leads to is chaos and exploitation of the most vulnerable. The conservatives are only hypocrites looking to make money, and turn back the clock, avoiding the new realities of the 21st Century because they don't care about anybody else. We are better than this polarization, people. Let's start a real dialogue about how to meet the challenges of tomorrow's world.
Glenn Beck Rally Raises Questions {AOL Hot Searches}
Aug 27th 2010 4:34PM Glenn Beck is doing this for one reason -- Glenn Beck! People need to stop giving him credit for the crap he spews. He's ignorant, racist and stupid... but very ambitious. Reminds me of another individual, from Alaska.
Report: Elin Divorcing Tiger Woods {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Dec 16th 2009 8:06PM Elin, you go ahead, girl! There are millions of wonderful men, I'm sure, who would love to take you and your babies off of Tiger's slimy hands, and provide you with the secure life you deserve. Go for it!
Irate Parnevik on Tiger: I Hope She Uses Driver Next Time Instead of the 3-Iron {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Dec 3rd 2009 11:56AM Just a little advice learned from this situation and others like it: This problem here lies between Tiger's ears. John Edwards said it best: When you get to be a public figure, you are susceptible to arrogance, and egotistical narcissism. If you don't know what that means, look it up. The very same risk-taking behavior necessary for success is the same thing that can ruin you. If you are on the way up in your profession or social status, BEWARE!! You, too, will feel that rush of power. It's an illusion. This is true of men and women. But when everyone around you keeps telling you how great you are, and you let yourself believe it, you are headed straight for a cliff. Unfortunately, once you fall, you'll never return to that same level again. Sin doesn't start with what you do, but with what you believe about yourself. Genuine humility is precious.
SC Republican Compares Michelle Obama to Escaped Gorilla {Politics Daily}
Jun 15th 2009 2:42PM It's amazing how lame these jokes are, comparing Black people to God-knows-what. It's just a method ignorant, backward people use to step on somebody else so that will feel superior. People, we've been there - done that. IT LEADS TO A DEAD END!! Does anybody learn anything from history? How can a person get elected to Congress with such an ignorant, stupid attitude? I blame the voters who put him there in the first place.
Obama Report Card {Politics Daily}
Mar 6th 2009 10:29PM Our President is trying to slow down and turn around a runaway freight train (like our financial system) that the "no-government-regulation" Republican fat-cat idiots allowed to get out of control. Ever try to turn around a runaway freight train? We have real problems, people. We are all in the soup together. This country is facing the most serious and complex problems that any President has ever tackled, and he is doing a great job. He can't afford to wait on anything -- not the economy, not healthcare, or anything else, as it is clear people will suffer if he sits back and does nothing. He's doing the right thing by getting right down to work and responding to the needs of the American people. And, remember, he's not doing it alone. He has to work through the political process with Congress. The effects of these plans will not turn everything around immediately -- that's not realistically possible, but they will eventually create a better future for this country. Thank God we have a President (for a change) who understands the intricacies of policy, politics, science and economics. If you have a suggestion, write to your represenetative. Let's all pull together, or else we're through.
Hot Seat: Bush Years {Politics Daily}
Nov 6th 2008 2:08PM To conservative Republicans.
If you are a Conservative, fine. Conservatives have their place. But to plan how to get trust back?... Well, my friend, it's too late now. You should have thought about that before. The Conservative era is over, because it failed the majority of Americans, by serving the interests of the lucky few. It abandoned the rest of us. As for the irrational "Socialist State" paranoia that you have? Well, too late again. This economy was so messed up by September, that the Republican administration had to bailout some of the largest business concerns in this country. So the "Socialist" measures you are referring to were done by the Republicans to help the economy that was on life support, and is still on life support. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Check out the facts, hun. We have a heap of serious problems in this country. We need to get to work to help each other. Why don't you espouse the desire to work with the Democrats to provide relief to the American people instead of more divisiveness, and hate-mongering?
Hot Seat: Bush Years {Politics Daily}
Nov 6th 2008 1:33PM Thank God that we have a President that represents compassionate, caring, acceptance of people who want peace and the fulfilling of American ideals. He transcends the divisions that have plagued this country for so long. What is more Christian than that? People, we have too many serious problems to face to be hate-mongering. If your candidate lost, too bad. Get over it, and get to work.

Jun 16th 2006 8:50AM It's easy to spend selfishly and luxe things up. It's a lot harder to give to those in need.
