Teen's charity name draws the McIre of McDonald's {WalletPop}

Jan 23rd 2010 8:27AM It is her name that begins with Mc and I am sure her family lineage goes a lot farther back than the franchise does by a long shot. I agree with everyone else boycott this disgusting fast food junk artery clogging unhealthy chain. If anything, now they are bringing worldwide attention to this young girl and her charitable events so more power to her. Keep doing your McFest concerts to raise awareness and funds for the kids that you help in so many ways~ Stay true to yourself that is what matters the most, don't give up and don't give in.

Rick Warren's Recession -- and the Saddleback Stimulus {Politics Daily}

Jan 3rd 2010 7:31PM I have been to several so called churches, given and have NOT recieved in a time of need.....What kind of houses do THEY live in...What kind of CARS do they drive??? What SCHOOLS do their children attend? This whole RELIGION thing is a place to REAP benefits and only that to the self-serving need. I have gone down that road and I am a spiritual person but DO NOT need to attend or give to any congregation to make my life on this planet worthy. I give to the DAV instead, people who have fought for our country and became severely disabled yet still have light in their eyes without limbs, in pain and yet still have a kind word to say without begging for that new house upon the hill like some of these so called pastors do.

Federal Reserve issues new rules restricting overdraft fees on debit cards {Daily Finance}

Nov 14th 2009 8:04AM What has saved me and yes people do make mistakes is a line of credit attached to my checking account. If I go over it automatically transfer the funds to cover my overdraft. I pay it immediately when I find out, no interest, no NSF fees~ Glad I have it because people do make mistakes like AOL auto debits, bank monthly service charges or any other automatic charges that are set up to come out of your account and the dates can vary as can your payroll dates.

Silly Questions, Serious Interview {AOL Jobs}

Nov 1st 2009 6:29PM When I was interviewing for another position within my company (or get laid off) I was asked a series of irrelvant questions as well. It was not based on my experience, what I could bring to the table but got the job anyways out of over a 100 applicants. Needless to say I have proven myself to be a worthy employee who is hands on and making them a profit where it took months before....

Silly Questions, Serious Interview {AOL Jobs}

Nov 1st 2009 6:23PM My sentiments exacty Scott! I am one of the fortunate one's based on one's abilities and knowledge that got the job fair and square. Out of 100 applicant's and yes, I did have to answer irrelevant questions as well!

Author Urges Parents To Quit Hovering {ParentDish}

Oct 3rd 2009 8:29AM I was the hovering parent, single mom and it only keeps your child from learning how to fend for themselves. He was always a good child, did extremely well in school but did not like sports, played video games instead and lead a very sheltered life. I was not a social creature and therefore he was shy around people. Now he is a grown man, has a daughter of his own and is raising her the opposite of how I raised him. Funny how generations "flip flop". He turned out fine as an adult, I finally let go and gave him the space he needed at 11 years old, better late than never I suppose!

Obama on Letterman: 'I Was Actually Black Before the Election' {Politics Daily}

Sep 22nd 2009 8:37PM Never mind, it was too detailed to go into. Cut off the illegals, quit bailing out banks and others, and stop NAFTA so American jobs come back to the states. And quit sending our young men and women to their death for wars that are centuries old.

7 Ways to Wreck Your Job Interview {AOL Jobs}

Sep 6th 2009 7:19PM I am sooo tired of advertisements on EVERY website that earn you money on the web....I have a great job, (with a large corporation) love what I do and it is a "win win" situation for all involved. Reading some of the posts seems like some just have to (and cannot wait) to bash others who are sincere in their posts. Good luck to all that are unemployed looking for work in these trying times...I wish you all that a good job comes your way~
