And why is it that if you wear a 12 or larger they want to make the legs huge assuming you have HUGE legs? I'm 5 ft 3 and I have a VERY hard time finding jeans that fit right! Open to suggestions!

You don't mess with a SOAP that people have been watching this long. And you ceretainly don't take a man off of a show that has been such a large part since 1980. It was stupid on Sony's part! The show keeps bringing in new people and getting rid of the people that have made this show for years! SHAME ON YOU SONY!

Jul 26th 2009 10:30AM I'm 49, my daughter is 27. My grandson is six. I was able to take my daughter with me anywhere and everywhere I went if I wanted. She always behaved. My grandson isn't as patient as he is and I being his full time Nanny know his limits. Therefore I don't push them. I believe you simply have to know what the child can tollerate and not expect them to be thrilled to shop for hours.
Mothers now days are very different from even the mothers from my generation. I notice when I'm out people assume I'm my grandsons mother. There are lots of older mothers now and I personally feel they let their kids get away with much more than the younger mothers do. We have family members that fit this description. They are older and their son is a total BRAT! And their young daughter is coming up right behind him doing similiar things. The odd thing to me.. these older mothers that I know are stay at home moms. The younger mothers I know, many of them work jobs outside the home and come home and work and take care of their children. But those kids behave better??? Is it the daycare providing these children with manners and patients??? Or perhaps its us Grandmothers? For me I know it is ME. I'm proud knowing I"m teaching my grandson not to act up in public and to have every day common manners. These older mothers need to get a grip!!
