Lindsay Lohan's Plan to Stay Out of Jail {PopEater}

Jul 12th 2010 4:46PM Ms. Lohan still doesn't get it and never will until she gets to spend some honest time in jail... the Judge only gave this child (know how old she is, but she is acting like a child and a spoiled one at that)... I just wished she could have given her that 90 days in jail and she had been taken from the courtroom to the jail cell and then I also wish she had been sent to Betty Ford for a year and then a year in a half way house with daily testing. It might be the only way people can reach her and get her to kick the drungs. I hope she does nothing but waste more money on the new attorney... he will earn it, but she needs jail and rehab. I feel for her father...her mother just enable's her. Sad, sad, sad...so much talent wasted away.

Meet the Texas Longhorns: The Biggest Coward Program in College Football {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Jun 18th 2010 3:11PM Hey, now, I am not a huge fan of Texas...but just the same I find that comment uncalled for and just plain wrong. Texas can play with the best of them... And one of these days, Missouri will beat them...their days are numbered. It was Nebraska that couldn't take the heat...after all Mizzou has in recent years beaten them several times. That aside, it was also, Colordo who was a wimp...they were out of their league in the Big 12 and they knew it...so they left for the Pac Ten where they might have a half of chance of beating OSU or Cal... The Big 12 should have stayed the Big 8...Texas has done nothing but be a bully to the schools in northern half of the Big 12. It's there fault this whole mess happened, period.

Jude Law's Ex Angry Over Daughter's Haircut {Stylelist (Main)}

Jun 18th 2010 10:13AM I am not sure what Jude Law's ex is exactly so upset about. The child's hair cut is cute and correct for her age.... Who has "legal" custody? Is it equal or shared....if it is she can whine all she wants, if her dad approved, that is the end of it. In fact unless it was a rude hair cut say with words written in to it, she needs to shut up. The little girl looks good... Mom is over reacting. She needs to stop this nonsense and get a life, too...besides being just mom.

Fran Drescher 'Blessed To Have Met' Gay Ex-Husband {PopEater}

Jun 3rd 2010 1:51PM Back in the day (abt 30 years ago or so) lots of gay men married. They didn't feel society or their family's would accept their sexuallity. As an adult daughter of a man who did this, I can tell you from experience this is true. That was my father's excuse for marrying my mother back in 1945... It was his choice to leave her after I turned 18...for man. It would have been much better to have left her earlier, but no one asked me. She could have moved on...but alas she never did... but, they did remain friends until her death. At 18, it was confusing for me...but I figured it out. Been married to the same man for 44 years.

NCAA Facing Its Own Erin Brockovich {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}

May 28th 2010 4:50PM Ok, I can really see both sides of this issue... While it would be nice to give the former player's a cut of the so called pie.... they did get a very expensive "free" education that the rest of us normally have to pay for...they should count themselves lucky they had some talent the schools needed in some sport or other need. Otherwise they wouldn't have gotten any money that they didn't have to pay back, period. And if the school ended up having to pay them fee's for these things, then either the price of the ticket's would go up greatly so that many alumni and local fans couldn't afford to go to these games...and also alumni donation's might suffer as well. If these student's once they have graduated have gone on to pro carrers, they really don't need the extra money and should concider it a donation to the school that chose to pay for their education. They need to stop being jerks and be glad for the gift of an excellent education that the taxpayer's or alumni have given them.

Gary Coleman Dead at Age of 42 {PopEater}

May 28th 2010 4:07PM May you rest in peace, Mr. Gary Coleman. It seems that life didn't offer you much peace at times. Between your on going medical issues, your childhood that you took umbridge with at times and your claim that your parent's stole much of your earnings... et al, may have given you a different outlook on life. I do hope you can find the peace you wanted but seemed to elude you all to often. G-d bless you. You seemed at times that you could be a very likeable person...and other times, not so much. I do hope you make it through those "pearly gates" and find what you were looking for that eluded you.

Lawrence Taylor Arrested in New York Rape Investigation {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

May 6th 2010 12:11PM What a looser this guy has turned out to be... Almost makes you want to resend his Hall of Fame placement. Yes, he was an excellent football player, but if this latest run in with the police proves to be true on top of all of the other ones... as good as he was a player and even though one doesn't have anything to do with the other...still makes you want to remove him from the Hall of Fame, anyway... He had it all and his fall from grace is remarkable. Shame on him... and of course his use of drugs may have fueled this last one, too...Will he never learn?

Shop Manager Gets Fired via Text Message {Switched}

Apr 12th 2010 3:00PM I have given two weeks notice before and been let go the same day I gave the notice in writing...what is up with that? I needed those two weeks pay between the jobs. I got smart after a while and started my own company. Now I don't worry about anyone firing me.

Shop Manager Gets Fired via Text Message {Switched}

Apr 12th 2010 2:32PM Now how tacty is that to be fired via a text message. I would never do that to one of my employees. They deserve better treatment than that from any employer in my book. That just stinks. Beside how do you know it is from them directly or someone who got a hold of their cell phone to play a very bad joke. When you can someone it should always be done in person if humanly possible or via phone.

Andy Rooney Angers Some Viewers (But He's Right) {AOL TV}

Mar 23rd 2010 10:38AM I enjoyed his last segment. Not everyone is college material and besides that we do need folks who can do things with their hands, too... It's not that they aren't intelligent folks, because plumbers, electricians and the like are very intelligent, too... they just have different life skills. My hubby, an attorney, has no ability to fix anything with his hands... he can't saw a straight line if his life depended on it. He would kill himself doing simply wring...and forget plumbing...he can't even get a seat on the john correctly... that is my job. But, he is a whiz at knowing the law in his area of Labor and Worker's Comp...but forget his cooking, unlike our son-in-law the chef... Everyone has a niche. Not to mention some make excellent money with their skills, too.
