A racist organazation that has nothing to do with "equality". What are they exactly protesting? Vick getting a job? Vick working? Honestly, If I was Michael Vick I'd be mortified that they'd do this. It's basically sends the message that the man can't do anything on his own and needs the help of these morons. Thanks NAACP for showing what kind of organization you really are. Hopefully blacks everywhere will realize that they are far better off without them and all the NAACPs, and the Al Sharptons of the world do is make things worse for them.

Mariotti is a moron. You'd think someone in his position would do a little reasearch. The truth is even after all these trades the Pirates are only saving 7.5 million! Hardly a fortune especially considering that they're spending 30 million on the draft in a 3 year span and going after the best minor league player (Sano). So in all actuality they're spending more money. This is the only choice the Pirates have under the current system that baseball is in. Sure they can spend $100 million and have a contender but they'd be bankrupt in a couple years. The only way a team that can truly afford say $70 million (breaking even) can afford to compete with teams spending triple that is to do it this way. The best that the Pirates or any small market team under these conditions can hope for is "lighting in a bottle" every 5 years or so and then keep rebuilding.

May 27th 2008 11:18AM I know most of you never heard of it, but here is Pittsburgh he have gas stations called Get Go's. The only owned by the local supermarket chain, so not only do you save 10 cents per gallon on every $50 you spend @ the supermarket or gas station, but they also have great food, such as Nathan Hot Dogs and even Paninis and other gourmet foods. I love Sheetz @ 3am like the rest of us, but Get Go blows them away!
