EBay Loses Big French Lawsuit {Luxist}
Jul 2nd 2008 4:32AM That hasn't stopped much in Hong Kong. Still alot of LV bags on the Ebay.com.hk site and will probably be more. Buyers are already weary, and its mostly local HKers selling outside of HK.

Review: Iron Man {Cinematical}
Apr 30th 2008 6:37AM Funny - no info on the last end-of-credit scene a la X3, but better, oh so much better:
SPOILER ALERT - if you want to know the big spoiler at the end have a read of our review:
http://www.butterboom.com/2008/04/30/review-iron-man/
Its the same positive review as the good folks here have written. So only read it if you don't want to go fanboy-mental at the end of the movie.
American Idol: Top 6 Revealed {AOL TV}
Apr 17th 2008 1:14AM After the early release of Michael Johns last week - its much easier to see who will come out on top, so in a way its clearer to see who the next 4 that get kicked off are - and the poll above pretty much confirms who will be the 2 finalists.
After destroying everyone with a Mariah Carey love song of all things - I too and Hook'd on Cook - I'd actually pay money to buy a David Cook CD and I think that is who should win the contest - whoever I give my money too.
Sarah Connor may be coming back for another season on FOX {AOL TV}
Mar 9th 2008 9:46PM Great news. The show has really surprised me with its nod at the first 2 movies, I had to go and watch T1 and T2 again after I saw the premiere.
Love the cast - everyone is brilliant, best John Connor, Summer Glau is great (dare I say better than in Firefly, and way hotter) - the writers are true to form, the high school stuff is well done, I even don't mind Brian Austin Green as Kyle Reese's brother and that scene in the season finale in the park was flawless not to mention the amazing Johnny Cash-SWAT sequence - so artful for a sci-fi TV show it must be shared - and apparently I am not the only one who dug it, as that specific scene is on YouTube:

(No spoilers in it, but should push you to look at the show if you haven't tried it yet as a show that is trying to take its source material and elevate it a bit.)
Trailer Park: Once More With Feeling {Cinematical}
Mar 9th 2008 5:13AM Although I loved the WANTED comic, they removed the supervillian angle from the movie and thus turning it into an EVIL version of The Matrix.
Sorry, but after seeing this trailer its basically McAvoy as Neo, Angelina is a sluttier Trinity and Freeman as an older Morpheus.
Here's the story to the uninitiated - Dumb guy who knows he should be better than his shit life is, finds out he is the son of a famous assassin. Beautiful woman and old mentor teach this kid that he has powers beyond those of normal people - instead of dodging bullets, Wanted is telling us to bend bullets.
I refuse to say the comic is better than the movie, because I always treat them as separate entities, but why did the filmmakers kill the supervillain concept - it was much more original and more in tone with reality - i.e. Archetypes of Lex Luthor, The Joker and Braniac WIN and kill all the superheroes and what happens next is in the WANTED graphic novel.
We'll see how it plays out but...The Matrix Revisited is what it already looks like.
