Feb 29th 2008 3:16PM That article just shocked me! First off, I don't "host" parties at the newest and greatest party spots for either of my kids. We don't attend them either. I am not going to furnish toys to another child's toy box. Birthday parties are all about family. Kids, in general, have enough toys. They see there friends at preschool/school, in the neighborhood, church, wherever. I'm not sure why parents today think their kids have to have everything, including the best and newest gadget!
