Jun 21st 2007 6:30PM I finally found good shoes that look cute at Shoe Carnival. That was when I lived in Florida...now we're in Georgia so don't know if they have them here. But my problem was finding cute, stylish shoes for work that fit my size 11 feet. I need a shoe with support that fits. Can't remember the brands, but I remember they were like $30, plus on sale off that.

Nov 26th 2006 9:39AM I bought a regular (no request for lowered temp) hot chocolate early Friday morning, and my daughter and I even commented that we would probably burn our tongues taking a sip of it without waiting for it to cool...but we each started drinking before we left the drivethru, and neither of us had any problem. I would never give a hot drink to my kids without testing it on my tongue first, especially if I had specifically asked for it to be a lower temp....and what the heck is a "visual inspection", lol?

Jun 11th 2006 8:44AM The name Damien has been a popular and well respected name for hundreds of years...and probably the most famous Damien before these ridiculous movies came out was Father Damien (Joseph Damien de Veuster),a Belgian Roman Catholic missionary who ASKED to be sent to work among the lepers on the island of Molokai, Hawaii. He's the one we should remember the name for, not some stupid movie.
I knew a terrific guy named Damien when I was growing up in Beloit, Wisconsin, and I thought he bore it gracefully when all this goofy hoopla started. I'm hoping most of the other Damiens around can weather this latest storm with the same sense of humor.

Jun 8th 2006 7:20AM My husband has been designing and building custom kitchens amd furniture in the high end, Treasure Coast area of South Florida for almost 25 years now. He would agree with most of this, but I think based on our experience the custom library (built in shelves, computer area that doesn't disturb the aesthetic of the room, etc) is much more in demand than the home theater. Although personally I'd prefer the theater, I think.
