Jun 3rd 2008 5:04PM That explains it all. Anyone who would paid 300,000 dollars for a POS car made by a tractor company can't be all that bright.

Jun 3rd 2008 5:02PM BTW, Isn't the House of Dior that queer little french "Fashion" house? Sharon Stone is waaay too sexy to be attached to "those" kind of people!
Oh, and WG- I do agree that we are ruining ourselves. If we continue to support and aid the rest of the world and fall all over ourselves because the Chinks have finally decided to jump into free market economy we will eventually fall. A lot of us here are pushing our politicians to cut off support for puny little countries like yours.

Jun 3rd 2008 4:45PM Clarkson and WG, you poor, ignorant sluts. I love your comments about my lack of education. I guess a PhD in economics from Yale isn't much of an education in your eyes, huh? Clarkson, as far as my understanding of the Chinese, I lived in Beijing for two years and helped write their tax code. BTW, I speak flawless Mandarin. You guys sound like a couple of imbeciles to me.

Aren't the Chinese the ones who have a terrible human rights agenda? aren't they the ones who invaded Tibet? Aren't they the ones who are currently driving up fuel costs? Aren't they the ones who are systematically destoying the US economy. Jeez, you'd think they were a countyr of Mother Teresa's.

Feb 26th 2008 11:21AM Biomass really is the answer to a renewable sustainable fuel source. Contrary to what most think the only biomass fuel that would really drive up food cost would be ethanol derived from corn which is a food staple in the 3rd world. The use of algae as the fuel stock has been explored and there are several strains that carry a significant amount of cetane. I have read that a 1,000 hectacre plot growing algae could provide 100% of the US' energy needs at the current levels.
Of course, petroleum companies fight this kind of common sense answer tooth and nail because there would be a shift in the ownership of fuel production.
