The Classicist: VO Guns Debuts the Falcon, World's Most Expensive Rifle, for $820,000 [EXCLUSIVE] {Luxist}

Mar 28th 2011 8:18PM What is it worth to me? Not a cent. Guns are used to kill, made to kill. I have no use for them. If they offered it to me for $5.00, I would pass. Or maybe not, maybe I would take it for free, sell to one of these gun nut types and donate the money to the Brady Campaign.

Elena Kagan's Fashion Sense: Robin Givhan and the Nominee's Legs {Politics Daily}

May 25th 2010 5:52PM Why should what she wears matter? Did anyone waste printed columns of critical comments about any other potential Supreme Court Justice? I remember the Anita Hill issue taking over the confirmation of Clarence Thomas but not one word about his fashion sense.

All these negative comments about Kagan are nothing more than the far right trying to find something, anything at all to create another issue for an Obama nominee.

The conservatives, the Republicans, and the far right need to get over it. They LOST. Deal with it.

Cheney Rips Obama Policies; Biden Says Cheney Is 'Rewriting History' {Politics Daily}

Feb 14th 2010 7:38PM THANK BUSH???? Over our dead bodies. Thank him for what? Bankrupting this country? Being responsible for thousands of dead soldiers?

Mother Teresa: Should a Saint Get Postal Service's Stamp of Approval? {Politics Daily}

Jan 30th 2010 5:52AM Mother Teresa picked up people dying in the streets, to give them dignity and love in their last moments.

WRONG! She picked them up to use as props to raise more money. She picked up young Indian women abandoned by their families in order to use them for her work. She fed them poor quality food and worked them to death.

Mother Teresa: Should a Saint Get Postal Service's Stamp of Approval? {Politics Daily}

Jan 30th 2010 5:48AM I have met Mother Teresa several times. She came to the Washington DC area to open her house of Sisters upon the recommendation of a personal friend of mine (a Catholic priest) who asked the Washington Archbishop to extend an invitation to her.

Mother Teresa had a public persona and one that would be upsetting to many if they knew her well. Primarily she was a business woman, who took in millions of dollars, enough to build state of the art hospitals, yet in Calcutta, the only time patients had decent gowns and food was when reporters were around.

She promoted being nuns to women who effectively had no value, then worked them to death. She once used an opportunity to try to say that a miracle had happened when she knew it was simply modern technology. In the book, The Missionary position, by Christopher Hitchens, he told that story. Essentially, she was being photographed by candlelight with fast speed film (unheard of in India) and when the photograph turned out well, she claimed it was a miracle that a picture of her appeared when there was no light.

The woman was a scammer. One of our other mutual friends, went to India to work with Mother Teresa, and came back upset once she saw all that she did when no one was around.

She is no saint. I have a feeling she is actually staying somewhere else other than heaven.

I am not an atheist but this woman has no business being on a stamp. Period.

Obama Starts Year at 50 Percent Approval, Lower Than Most of His Predecessors {Politics Daily}

Jan 7th 2010 12:28PM Oh, and from the looks of it, his approval rating went UP one percent from where it was a few weeks ago. But keep spinning it.

Obama Starts Year at 50 Percent Approval, Lower Than Most of His Predecessors {Politics Daily}

Jan 7th 2010 12:26PM So basically, more people approve of Obama than disapprove. But to read your tag line, somehow that gets turned around. Typical AOL spin. Obama still beats Bush who had an approval rating of about 27% most of the last year he was in office.

More Tests Planned as Rush Limbaugh Remains Hospitalized {Politics Daily}

Dec 31st 2009 12:26PM The difference is that liberals don't go around PREACHING family values to the rest of us while doing all those things that they PREACH about. I don't see liberals making judgments about gays, non-believers in Christianity or abortion. It is those conservatives who do that. So naturally when they are caught with their pants down, their HYPOCRISY is what makes them different.

More Tests Planned as Rush Limbaugh Remains Hospitalized {Politics Daily}

Dec 31st 2009 12:23PM It is so obvious that AOL, a conservative company, does not really report the thumbs down ratings given to posters who like Limbaugh.

Now having said that, I think Rush will recover. You can't kill dirt.

Midwest Blues for Obama in Latest Round-Up of Poll Ratings by State {Politics Daily}

Nov 26th 2009 11:51PM If all fifty states were represented by this article and not only those unfavorable to the President, it would be worth considering as a legitimate news report.

For instance, where is Maryland? A state that I know favors Obama is nowhere to be seen.
