'Wings' Cast: Where Are They Now? {Inside TV Blog}
Apr 25th 2010 8:04PM My name's also Robert. Yes, I was an avid watcher of Discovery Wings, too, and have watched the Wings sitcom only in re-runs. But, as a pilot who flew in and out of Nantucket in the 1970's and who grew up around airplanes in the Northeast (and fly jets now), I enjoy the show. None of the characters speak with an accent appropriate to the locale, but it's still a fun show to watch. As a sitcom, well written and the cast gelled together very well. Actually, I'll watch a re-run of Wings but not Seinfeld, if I'm in the mood for a sitcom. Come to think of it, Wings is pretty much the only sitcom I watch...
'Burn Notice' - 'Devil You Know' Recap (Season Finale) {AOL TV}
Mar 5th 2010 2:46AM I'm a regular viewer of the show. I thought that Simon in a security uniform was too obvious. I also wonder why, if Management is some kind of rogue element of the Company, does it have such access (such as to federal buildings, etc.)? On another note, the "Fi, I have to do this alone" will probably again create problems for Michael - Fiona (once Michael re-appears). As for Madeline, the search of the garage was probably illegal or at best questionable (no warrant, no apparent consent to search garage). But that's technical stuff. Well, we know now that Simon was the doer of all (most) of the bad stuff that Michael got burned for. But will Michael's name ever be cleared?
Oprah's New Plane {Luxist}
Jun 6th 2006 8:13PM She's owned a Gulfstream G-IV for years. In other words, she's had a high-end private jet for a long time. So, nothing new there, except the make and model. Haven't heard of the Global Express coming to NetJets, though (as per poster before me). Why fly the airlines if you can fly privately? Many people fly privately. It's way more efficient. Get with the program!
