15 Signs Your Workplace is Dysfunctional {AOL Jobs}
Oct 29th 2009 10:14AM EXCELLENT article! The solution, for me was to work for yourself! I had TWO horrible, nightmarish job experiences. Sneaky, backbiting, manipulative, nasty bosses. Plus, I was overworked and underpaid. I promised myself I would never, ever let that happen to me again. Rather than search for another job...I decided to work for myself. The struggle was ugly, but I made it. BEST decision I ever made.
Pharrell Williams Rocks Two Rolls-Royces {Luxist}
Sep 25th 2008 12:45PM Mr. Williams is obviously very successful at what he does. It's nice to see a young person with such passion for his work and getting PAID for it. I'm sure he's learned to deal with jealous, condescending haters. As we all know, they will rear their ugly heads when they see you prosper! As I grow my home-based business, SundayCosmetics.com, they haters showed up. My lesson? Haters are an indication you've got VALUE. Make haters your motivators. Have you ever seen anyone get jealous and say nasty things about a homeless person or anybody content with poverty?

The five golden rules to thrift store shopping {WalletPop}
Feb 22nd 2008 12:41PM I had the pleasure of discovering thrift shopping about five years ago. I've got fabulous designer clothes in
for a few bucks. I know that DRYEL DOES NOT remove musty underarm odor! I spray the underarms with SHOUT and then wash with a good detergent like GAIN or TIDE. Or, before professional drycleaning, wipe the underarms of the fabric with a soft cloth soaked in cold water and detergent. If not, they'll come back with a slightly musty odor.
