Dec 28th 2010 8:13PM ugh..I'm sick of all the professional, liberal, idiots whining about these people and their problems!! It must be nice to sit home and preach to all of us unfeeling cretins. You can pull out your degree to prove that you're just slightly above the rest. These are MUG SHOTS of f*d up people! Everybody has problems! Feel sorry for us because we have to support these people! Since they'll never be able to function in society, take one of them to your better-than-average home with you. OR Shut up!

10 Part-Time Jobs to Pad Your Pocket {AOL Jobs}

Jul 4th 2010 7:30PM Nobody says you HAVE to speak another language. But, it will help if you do. In fact, I think it opens a lot of doors. My grandparents were immigrants. They made sure that all the kids knew how to speak English. Two of my grandparents never really mastered English and I'm sure they preferred speaking the language that they knew best. Now, I wish I knew how to speak another language. In fact, most people in other countries ARE bi-lingual. My objection, and I think it's the same for most people, is that some new immigrants want to reap all the benefits, and are not willing to embrace their new homeland. The belief that someone feels "entitled" can enrage even the most easy going citizens. If all they can do is complain about our country, it makes sense to say that if they don't like it here...they should just go back to where they lived. I have traveled to a lot of places outside of the US. It's surprising what other cultures find rude or incorrect. I guess it makes most Americans angry if they feel compelled change their customs in order to accomodate other cultures, and I agree. I can't imagine having a Battle of Gettysburg celebration in Mexico. So, I don't "get" why we celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the States. When
in Rome...

PETA Unhappy Meals Targeting Kids {Slashfood}

Aug 7th 2009 2:13PM This just illustrates what I've been saying about these people for years. They are sick f**kers that don't even like animals. They just love sensationalism. Too bad real animal-lovers often get thrown into green bags.

No Baby Shoes, No Restaurant Service {ParentDish}

Aug 7th 2009 11:18AM This article makes things sound pretty one-sided. How can anybody "kick out" a baby?? I'm pretty sure there is more to it than this. If I was told that I couldn't come in because my baby wasn't wearing shoes, I would probably think the place was run by idiots and just leave. OR, I would put a pair of shoes on the baby!!! Does anybody seriously believe that this baby never had anything to cover it's feet? C'mon. I got little sandals and soft shoes at my baby shower almost 30 years ago!
Heide's self-riteous comment about people who are minimum wage earners made me laugh. Sounds like she has some real personal power problems. I wasn't there, and neither was she. So, for her to judge anybody's intelligence by the amount of money they make, just makes her sound like the bitch she probably is. I know she'll excuse my comments since, she's obviously so highly evolved.
I remember when I worked in a restaurant years ago, people thought it was ok to put diapered babies on the counter and allowed them to stand on the table, because I guess they thought their babies feet were clean. Lots of people found that offensive.
The manager should have handled it differently, period.

UBS sued by client: If it sounds too good to be true... {Daily Finance}

Jul 30th 2009 9:32AM This happens in the banks here, too. My dad believes that a bank has to be ethical and was flim-flammed into a huge somewhat risky investment by a fast talking broker. At 85, one of the salesmen with a nice office inside a well-known bank convinced him to sink $100,000 into an annuity with AIG...(remember them)? The slimy broker's business cards looked exactly like the bank except they had a C at the end of the word BANK. When I called them about it, I was accused of meddling. Of course this is not ethical and they were forced to fix it. But, I spoke with an attorney who told me that it happens all the time.

Millions Reportedly Looted From Kurt Cobain Estate {Spinner}

Apr 10th 2009 2:00AM Raytowntransit's remarks are cold, but it's ridiculous how everybody feels sorry for people with this imaginary "disease". It's not a disease. It's a choice. It's a lifestyle. It's messed up. But, it's not a damn disease!
Oh...and by the way, I have plenty of experience with dope and dope addicts.

Fruity and ostentatious, yet highly fictitious: Online restaurant, hotel reviews easy to fake {WalletPop}

Aug 23rd 2008 10:00AM I used to do mystery shops and restaurant reviews. Most of it is bs. You write what they want you to write. Some of them will TELL you that they want a 100% positive review. I have written some reviews online that were negative, but accurate. At least half of them disappeared.

Cross Nursing - Natural extension or disgusting and weird? {ParentDish}

Jul 29th 2008 12:09PM I breast fed my daughter. To me, it was just easier. For all of the people who say there are no benefits, I will heartily disagree. Other than "well visits", she might have been to the doctors three times in her first 15 years. On the other hand, I doubt that there is a difference in bonding between babies who breastfeed and those who do not. At least not on the child's part. As far as cross-nursing or wet-nursing, I was offered a stipend to "pump" my milk to give to the babies whose moms couldn't produce milk. I didn't think there was anything wrong with that, and I don't think that's a big deal, but I'm not sure how comfortable I would feel hitching somebody else's baby on my wagon. Maybe I'm just too old to consider it now, but I think there's an "ick" factor. It reminds me of a farm animal. Sorry if that analogy offends anybody, but it's just my opinion.

Look out! The terrorists have curry! {Gadling}
