Jun 4th 2012 9:27AM Great memories of the Jolly Roger, Dearborn, and Ford Wyoming in the Dearborn Michigan area. The Ford Wyoming is still open, though I am past the age of making out to a forgetable movie. I took the love of my life to the Dearborn almost every Friday in the fall of '63. Too bad I wasn't the love of her life. Nice to remember though, thanks for the article.

Mar 20th 2011 10:30PM They didn't say if they are trying to make the engines quieter. I live about 5 miles from Detroit Metro Airport and my windows rattle all day. That wasn't happening 10 or 20 years ago. The cars and trucks have to conform to certain noise levels, why not the thunder from multiple jet engines? They are still using 1960's technology.

Mar 19th 2009 11:46AM Alexis was one of my picks to be in the final. I am very disappointed that she was voted off and not given a second chance. I have turned off the Idol record on my DVR for the rest of the season. (Maybe for good) I'm gone from that show.

Apr 30th 2008 9:49AM I've met Ashley a few times over the years when I go to the races with my friends team. Before Funny Car, she used to pit near us. What a sweet, polite young lady! I am happy for her recent success and hope for many more. If you follow drag racing, you know that John wouldn't throw a race for the Lord Himself. It's just not his nature. GO ASHLEY!!
More Smelly Hotels {Luxist}
Jun 2nd 2006 4:21PM I just hate it when you request a non smoking room and it reeks of smoke. They can't cover that up with perfume. I carry "smells begone" and "smoke buster" with me always. The curry that was mentioned makes me think of an Indian owned Dunkin doughnuts near me. Imagine, if you can, fresh doughnuts overpowered by the smell of something that was cooked in the building with curry. I almost got sick and never went in there again.
