Mar 9th 2007 12:44PM For those who think that the only solution is to get a job, needs to walk in the shoes of the mentally challenged people. Who are you to judge what they go through? By the grace of God, I avoided being homeless at the last minute. It was from medical expenses way beyond my needs. Yet the government considered me too rich for help. I agree that we shouldn't give cash. But a meal and a nice smile would go a long way. Some of the people end up losing all self respect after being out on the streets. These are people who never did drugs or abused alcohol. There's a tv program called Second Chance. People need to watch it and become informed!!

Mar 9th 2007 12:06PM I think it would be great for our service people overseas. I think it should be used for making the uniforms as opposed to having them wearing raincoats on their already burdened bodies. God bless our troops overseas.
