Aug 19th 2009 3:32PM I have sparred against some excellent female black belts while training over my 30 plus years of martial arts, however we were governed by some reasonable rules of contact. It was great fun and good cardio. I still think, however that trying to hurt someone for money is barbaric on either side of the sexes, and I have won my share of tournements.

Jul 29th 2009 3:33PM I agree. Graphics Designers average about 30 grand a year if they are lucky. My son has a 4 year degree in Graphic Design, and 10 years of experience, some very high end work. He does web design, Dream Weaver, Advanced Photo Shop, Flash, and many others. He has been doing temp work and free lance work for a year with no prospect in sight. A lot of clients think they can get a good designer from a self taught or tech school. That would be a bare minimum skill level. Hire a good designer and he will out produce by a factor of 2 at a lower training and experience level, with higher quality work. There are very few jobs out there right now, and they are going to people who will work for nothing. You get what you pay for.

Jun 23rd 2009 5:39PM If you go to Mexico to go to medical school, you must take a year of citizenship courses there, and pass a language test first. You must also pay $30,000 + in advance. All courses are in Spanish. If you went there and marched with an American Flag and demanded free medical care, they would put you in jail. If you were illegal there you would be put in jail. Why expect any different here?
