Jan 7th 2009 11:14PM Sir Paul owns (owned?) the rights to Buddy Holly's music but has made sure Holly's widow is cared for. So he has an awareness of ownership rights. It was a dispute regarding Apple Records that resulted in the songs being sold to the highest bidder. It does seem wrong that he doesn't own the rights to songs HE wrote.

Mar 30th 2008 7:46PM I spent a week in Paris this month so let me enlighten some of you who only read snippets on the internet. The French are polite, work hard, and have suffered greatly over numerous wars.
The French came to the patriots' aid in the Revolutionary war because they recognized the need for separation. We have been allies ever since.
As for WWI and WWII, many French people faught and died trying to keep oppression out of their country. The French underground and the French resistance are still recognized today for their patriotism and heroism.
If more Americans would READ and discuss ideas instead of people, we would be a better nation.
And they do not smell; I had my nose disturbed by more Americans than I can possibly remember.
