When a person borrows SOMEONE ELSES money like the BANKS money. The person borrowing WINS. Not the BANK. Not until the loan is partially paid, say, 10-15 years down the road. The banks make their money betting on the paper martgages they sell back and forth to each other, not on your piddly loan of 100,000 or 100,000,000. They only had to put down %5-%10 of your loan amount to borrow that amount from the federal reserve. THATS WHY we have collapse. PERIOD.
The banks ggot greedy and saw that they only needed a small bit held in the bank to reserve for the fed loans.
Nicholas CAGE, smart man. Took out MILLIONS in loans, tens of MILLIONS.
Hopefully, he saved some of it, somewhere, and can help bail out alot of Los Angeleans by doing some good with it, and his life now.
Anyways...
ALWAYS use SOMEONE ELSES MONEY, bank or credit. NEVER use your own.
IF and only IF you have your OWN finances under control.
Which I am guessing Nick CAGE did at the time this all began.
I am sure most of what he borrowed is hidden or in the Caymans.

As a Realtor for more than 10+ years, this is NOT the current administrations issue. It was done and done long before this one.
It was ruined by the Greenspan administration that started the long downturn just a few years before his retiring. Their need to only see the good and never report the bad, was what killed our economy. Even bad things can be made to sound good when put a certain way. So the companies, the lenders and the government beleived them, and continued to lend at crazy rates, with crazy made up loans that sometimes, were never even explained to the agent or the homeowner.
Since the agent has no right to get into the finance part of a purchase unless the homeowner specially requests in writing for them to help and look things over, and even then, we arent financial advisors.
Credit Unions and experienced financial advisors or attorneys will help you! Dont do this yourself or rely on someone else to look out for your interests. Its not up anyone else but you.
We always provide help with lending, and advisors if people ask for them.
But most of the time buyers and sellers read the documents for their loans prior to closing, BUT,
never read them again AT CLOSINGS.
The loan CAN and sometimes DOES change at a closing table.
Which leaves NO ONE with any options other than, WALK AWAY, or SIGN and MOVE IN your things that are out in front of the new house waiting for you after closing.
It was the previous administration that allowed this to be a rose colored financial mess, so that they didnt have this, and the war and a bad administration to boot!!
Financial distress, and Financial Booms take 8-10 years to ebb or flow, either poorly or for the better.
It has nothing to do with the current administration that is trying their damndest to save our country right now.
If you cant come up with a solution, sit back, put food on your table, protect your family and stop whining, it aint helping anything and it certainly isnt a good christian thing to do.
Support your friends, families and even those that dont agree with you. You are going to need each other as a community very soon.
This isnt going to get better in the next 3-6 months.
But perhaps in a few years it wont be terrible.

The vote didnt go through because it needed 5 extra votes. Not his vote.
If he cant do his job away from Washington, then he cant do it when he goes to a foreign country!.
Of course he can do his job when he is elsewhere.
He has people in place to do their jobs even if he is sleeping.
And so does your company.
So stop wagging the dog, and get back to the more important things like Governor Pawlenty trying to steal from Minnesota, or Cheney being a dumb ex non important VP, or Palin being an idiot, or better yet, some good things to talk about for once.

If anyone yelled out "you lie" in college to the teacher or in high school at the pep rally during the principals or the Superintendants speech, you would have been taken immediately to the principals office and given detention or suspended for unruly behaviour at an inappropriate time.
This was not the right time for this lowlife to be a child.
Especially at a PUBLICLY televised event.
He has apologized for his timing.
He HAS NOT apologized for his comments.
I hope that his home state sees him as a hothead that gets nothing done with his attitude and partisan ways and I hope they choose someone else next time they vote that is more representative of the kind, good natured people they are.
He should be asked to step down or be censured for one congressional year.
