One Massachusetts Odds-Maker: Scott Brown a 3-to-1 Favorite Over Martha Coakley {Politics Daily}

Jan 19th 2010 5:34PM How soon people forget. Bush and company drove this country into the ground - from the biggest surplus ever to the largest deficit in our nations history. It's unfortunate, but at this point in time, I don't think anyone - whether they be Republican, Democrat or Independent - is capable of repairing the horrendous mess that our country is in. There are times when things are so badly broken that they just can't be fixed.

Squirrel Photobomber Steals the Scene {Urlesque}

Aug 16th 2009 11:49AM What's wrong with you people? This animal is quite obviously an Asian Elephant - note the smaller ears as compared to its African relative.

Sarah... what grade did you get on that paper?

Billy Mays' Autopsy Shows Cocaine {PopEater}

Aug 7th 2009 11:55PM I've come to the conclusion that the average citizen of the United States is angry, illiterate, ignorant, uncaring, and overall, extremely repugnant.

RIP Billy Mays... my sympathies to your family.

Feminists Should Leave Sarah Palin Alone {Lemondrop}

Aug 7th 2009 2:25AM Many Palin supporters seem to forget something - 'she' was the Republicans attact dog, 'she' was the one who made the absurd claim (amoung many others) that Obama palled around with terrorists... a more vile and rediculous assertion one couldn't make. Now that 'she' is being criticised, her response is to quit her duty as governor, cry abuse, and cash in on her fifteen minutes. Those are not the actions of an individual who I or any rational citizen would want to be one stroke or heart attack away from the presidency.

Antiques Roadshow To Feature First Million-Dollar Appraisal {Luxist}

Jun 30th 2009 4:51PM I'm a long time collector of original comic art amoung other things and have found that the appraisals on the roadshow have been on the conservative side. There were quite a few times when my wife and I mentioned to each other that we wished we could buy the item for the value that their experts gave to them. We could have flipped some of the pieces immediately and made some good money.

I get a real kick out of the Keno brothers. When appraising a piece of furniture that has caught their fancy they describe it as if it were a beautiful woman. :)

Fashion Week Trends {Stylelist}

Feb 21st 2009 5:04PM I really had the idea that this was going to be about baseball caps as well. While at the registry yesterday, I noticed that the newest trend is to have the bill of the cap flat (completely flat as though it has been ironed) and pulled down just above the eyes. This is about as bad as the ol' sideways bill. :) One guy had the whole thing going on - flat billed cap, the waist of his pants around his thighs, and about a foot of his boxers showing. I thougt to myself "How will this guy ever get away from the police dressed like that?"

Burned Out on the Job {AOL Jobs}

Feb 12th 2009 7:35PM I worked in a state prison for 21 years. I hated it the first day I walked through the door, and I hated it the last day when they took me out in an ambulance. I'm retired and now work at an animal shelter helping to rehabilitate injured wildlife. I've never been happier in my life.

Woman Dead for 42 Years Before Someone Noticed {Asylum}

Jun 23rd 2008 9:30PM Did anyone else think of Faulkner's "A Rose for Emily" after reading this article?
