White Castle Discriminates Against Power Scooter User {Asylum}

Jun 17th 2009 6:39PM I am handicapped, and have used a scooter and a wheelchair, and there is NO WAY I would even even THINK of trying to use a drive thru on my scooter, just as I would NEVER try to drive a freeway on the shoulder, just because I am driving a "motorized" vehicle. It is just plain UNSAFE, and against the law. If you think a drive thru is for motorized vehicles, it is not. It is for LICENSED vehicles. There should be a notice before you get in line, as by the time you get into the line and up to the window, it is too late as the risk to the customer has already been taken, and the liability of the company is already assumed. As a disabled person, I must use common sense as well as think of "my rights".

Picture Worth 1,000 Words {Politics Daily}

Mar 21st 2008 5:17PM Has anyone ever wondered how Obama came to power. Five years ago, nobody except people who lived in Illinois knew of him and 10 years ago, give or take a few years, even they hadn't heard of him. Suddenly, he is going to be our nominee for President???? That scares me! I wonder if he made a deal with the devil, literally. And he speaks of peace. So did that guy in Revelation (the Bible). If you haven't read that try The Left Behind series. Pay special attention to the character, Nicolai. He sounds uncannily like Obama.

The World of Rare Stones: Painite is the World's Rarest Gem {Luxist}

Jan 31st 2008 4:20PM Exactly! I have a Russian demantoid garnet with horsetail inclusions, which is one of the rarest garnets (it is green) and the inclusions make it more valuable. I took it to have it set in a ring, and the jeweler marked it a a peridot. I guess if you've never see one and don't test it for it's chemical composition, you say it is what you think it is. So is it a chocolate diamond or a smokey quartz?
