Kissing romantically is sex. Foreplay is sex. It's really simple to judge - sex is anything you would object to a 21 year old man or woman doing to your 16 year old daughter or son.

Jan 19th 2009 10:37AM The punishment here does not fit the crime. I don't feel like the public should have to pay $40,000 a year to keep this idiot in prison for any length of time. Give him community service where every weekend for 5 years he has to clean grafitti off public or private property at his own expense. If he doesn't do it, then lock him up for 6 months at a time, each time adding 6 months to his sentence if he doesn't do the community service. Turns into a life sentence if he doesn't comply. And he's no Rosa Parks. Revolutions are begun by people doing deeds in the open, not skulking around in the dark. He's just a punk. Stand in front of a tank for all the world to see and you'e a hero. March up to Bull Conner and his dogs and you're a hero. Sneak around in the dark and you're just a coward.

Oct 25th 2008 5:51PM This award will not be reduced. They accused this woman of having committed a crime and they did it publically when thye contacted others. No matter what she had done in the store she had not committed a criminal act until she is found guilty in a court, after a charge is brought, after she is arrested, after she is represented by counsel, and after a trial. Target's actions were not petty. This is about as high as slander and libel can reach. This is not a case of some clumsy spilling hot coffee on their own lap while trying to drive. This is someone offering legal tender and then being labeled a thief in public BEFORE A TRIAL. Innocent until proven guilty means more than you think. And someone's reputation carries great wealth, especially when these Target fools also tried to impune her to her own employer. If they had fired her because of Target's actions she would have been awarded a lot more than 3 million.
