Jan 6th 2011 11:01AM How do we really know how these horses are treated when not working, has anyone really investigated? What do you think wild horses do when it is cold/hot out? They have no heated/air conditoned barn to run to....should we round up all wild horses so that they are not being treated cruelly?? Yes, there should be regulations regarding how these horses pulling carriages are treated, but to just ban them entirely seems extremely ridiculous....sometimes PETA gets a bit carried away in what they deem mistreatment of animals...sometimes, not. In this case they are way off track...

Nov 23rd 2010 9:18AM My favorite Christmas memory is the "battle" my Mom and one of her sisters used to have over who could give the "worst" present to the others' children...by "worst" I mean, messiest, loudest, most annoying...it was awesome! Those were some of the BEST presents ever: Silly Sand vs. Harmonicas......Leggos (so many little pieces to step on) vs. drums.....finger paints vs. puzzles so difficult that tipsy parents (the egg nog was always spiked!) required our help to get them back together! Then one year my aunt gave us Giant Knitted Stockings...the "never ending Christmas Stocking: thoses stockings held A LOT of gifts! (poor Mom and Dad...ummmm, I mean Santa!) My Aunt won that year :) and so did we!!!

If you've watched the show you know that these kids have been beating on each other from day one and no one ever seems to do anything to stop them or tell them hitting is wrong. I'm sure that Kates response would be "well thats just how it is with mutiples" What a load of crap. The problem has been that two (now one) parent(s)can not sufficiently supervise and discipline 8 children by themselves. Not having extra help with these kids when they were younger left them not learning the lessons of every childs childhood. No hitting. No name calling. No fighting. I always wondered what would happen when they got to school and reality set in. Now we know.

Jul 6th 2010 3:35PM would you say the same thing if it had been a child's feet? how many people know that on an 80 degree day the surfaces of a childs play ground and the equipment on it can reach temps of 140+ degrees. Are there adequate warning signs for this, either on a playground or on a cruise ship's deck? Is there a sign posted for mandatory foot wear?
