Dec 21st 2012 9:59AM There should NOT be an across the board ban of all semi-automatic weapons. I am a liberal Democrat but guns do not kill people anymore than automobiles kill people. When all the hysteria dies down and we look more carefully at statistics, we find that considering there are an estimated 310,000,000 guns in this country, less than 1/10th of 1% are used in violent acts and many are murder suicides using ordinary hand guns. This Newtown tragedy is just that but should not be a call for banning everything gun related. I own three semi-automatic weapons that have never been used in violent acts. It is the nut or the criminal who acts out these horrific acts and they should be taken off the street. Those of you who want to act in a kneejerk manner, because these types of acts are so terrible, are misguided. Assault weapons are illegal now. Known felons and other questionable individuals may not purchase weapons now. Guns used in any manner to commit a crime are dealt with more harshly. Toughen up the background checks to include gun shows and maybe also private sales. Do it by whatever means are necessary: add staff, do it on a state level. I do not accept nor approve of the NRA's rhetoric but neither do I accept the call for an out of hand ban on all semi-automatic weapons. I WILL NOT GIVE UP MINE! Either we all talk together in a reasonable manner and find ways to get the sick and/or criminals out of this equation while still allowing sane, non-criminal individuals like myself to own weapons including semi-automatic ones, or all will stay in the same boat we are in. By proposing such immature solutions, you all have made the sale of semi-automatic weapons soar, along with the ammo used. So within a short time we may see a massive increase in ownership of these weapons. Hope you are satisfied. The manufacturers are!

Jan 13th 2011 5:03PM Hot chocolate should be just that, CHOCOLATE, not vanilla, not hazelnut, not mint or some other crap added. Hot chocolate should be able to stand on its own. And please. PLEASE what is up with white chocoiate? It is not even chocolate. Personally real milk(at least the 2 % kind )not 'sort of taste like milk or milkish skim water glop)is a prerequisite, And leave the marshmellow in the garbage can where it belongs.
Then and only THEN taste and compare for the real chocolate taste.
The rest of that stuff should not be allowed on the shelves.
Taste test indeed????????
