Walmart Losing Business, Looks to Retool {WalletPop}
Feb 23rd 2011 1:47PM We buy from WalMart for a very small store. In these bad times, we only purchse 10 to 12K a year. Our big gripe with WalMart is their store is El Centro and Brawley, CA. The Manager makes us check out in the Customer Service/Returns section which is not set up to handle our volume. No counter space, plus we have to wait a long long time on line, and then when it is our turn, it greatly delays other people on line with returns and such. At the WalMart store in La Quinta and Rancho Mirage, CA, the Manager lets us check out at a regular check-out line. Much much faster. Plus, we can then buy vegies which are weighed. Customer Service can not weigh vegies, so we can't buy them at WalMart. I hope someone in power at WalMart reads this and helps. We are starting to buy at Target, very fast check-out! Fred Gramcko

Feb 14th 2011 1:00PM I am from the old school when "stock cars" were stock cars. If you can not buy the car from a dealership like any other person, the car should be illegal. Keep the safety items, cages, tanks, etc. The cars they are running are all the same, with engine and drive combinations that do not exist in the market place. NASCAR has a lot of nerve calling the cars stock cars, and the "S" in NASCAR stands for "STOCK"! I have not watched a race since they started with these highly modified frames they are calling stock cars. If a model is only available to the public as a V6 front wheel drive, then that is what should be raced. Right now there is not one piece of a real car in their "stock cars". Fred Gramcko
