May 26th 2007 7:58AM After reading what Barbara Walters supposedly said regarding the past year and the View with Rosie I realize now that she too is DAFFY. How could she in all good consciousness say that it was the best and most exciting year? Has she become demented with age? It's possible or is she just trying to "save face" at her decision of letting Rosie co-host the show? We all know that was a huge mistake in everybody's part. The show is down the tubes as far as I'm concerned and the day that Star Jones and Meredith quit was the beginning of the end. I am so used to watching nothing at that hour that I won't miss it a bit and especially wouldn't miss the BIG MOUTH Rosie, but then Joy is still there, so there will still be much ignorant and useless conversation about nothing. Thanks Joy for holding up the show by being so stupid. Get the whole show off of the air and let those who watch TV at that time of day either turn the channel or find something better to do with their time.

Dec 21st 2006 8:34AM While I have been all over the world the one thing I absolutely am fanatical about is a "loo" being CLEAN. Convenience is second. I do not need a posh enviornment while "going". I would rather have that in my hotel room or better yet in my "loo" at home. Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.

Aug 29th 2006 10:38PM I just posted on having MRSA and now want to speak of also contracting VRE. Both are not to be believed. I feel ostracized from society knowing that I have these and have actually had a nervous breakdown and contemplated suicide to rid myself of the exhausting, mind boggling treatments. I have lost my insurance and actually fired doctor after doctor who didn't and won't take me seriously due to the insurance. I live in a city that has world renound Medical care and yet have to deal with this. I feel so sorry for those of you who are also in the same situation or worse. I am now allergic to the drugs that are used for the treatment and the doctors won't try anything next. So far God has been with me and not let me become septic, but I have had pneumonia from the VRE going to my left lung and have also lost 1/2 capacity of that lung. THIS IS SERIOUS PEOPLE and I do believe it's the new AIDS.
I am angry, hurt, confused and totally have no recourse except to pray and live knowing that at any time this could take my life.

Aug 29th 2006 10:23PM I am finally glad to see an awareness being made of this potentially and vitally important topic. I am particularly speaking of MRSA of which I contracted first in 2004 from an incisional wound, which the vascular doctor left open over night because it was Saturday and he didn't want to come in until later to check it. For at least 12 hours the nurse literally stood with pressure on the wound in my chest and giving me enough Morphine to keep me almost comatose for the pain and to prevent bleeding to death and he finally showed up and wondered by the stiches that he originally put hadn't held. Well, come to find out he didn't use stiches at all. He did however decide to stich it in the room using no sterile technique or any anesthesia. Yes, folks this happened in this century. Nurses had no recourse except to observe and report. I had no recourse because of the tremendous pain and in less than 10 the nastiest, foulest smelling drainage and infection I have ever experienced. This required Infectious Disease doctors and a 12 week course of an open wound which was packed three times daily with a Clorox/saline gauze stuffed in the incision (Dakins solution) and IV with a surgically inserted PICC line for Vancomycin, one of the strongest antibiotics known to man. I was only 44 years old at the time and was thus transferred to a nursing home for the IV therapy due insurance reasons. Guess what, now I have it again and the doctor that removed a questionable lesion knew of the prior history of MRSA. I can't get treatment for this, doctor's and some nurses say that we all carry this in our noses. I am suffering as I write this and have had two lengthy hospital stays and five ER visits since July of this year. PLEASE HELP when you can, this is beyond finding the words that this MRSA causes both emotionally and physically. WAKE UP MEDICAL Personnel. Also the public can help as well. Patient's need to be taught. IF you want to ask , I will tell you even more graphic details. Thanks for listening.

Aug 7th 2006 2:58PM I don't know why this would surprise anyone who is aware of what is really going on in this world. The world is a mad, money-hungry, bizarre place and an idea of advertising on a so called "BARF BAG", is not really that bad when compared to other ideas that are far worse, less human and absolutely stupid. We are a society and unfortunately I have to add myself in that group, that is going for broke and no mater what will do anything to get attention for the "almighty dollar". Sad, but true. Good Luck with the idea, but I prefer to travel on land and hope that I will never have to be face to face with a "BARF BAG", slogan or worse yet a picture. Being air sick is not a time that one wants to read as if they were sitting at the breakfast table reading the creal box for lack of better entertainment.

Also is her little sister the one that played Allie on Everybofy Loves Raymond? They have the same last name and look remarkable alike. If so, does she have a close relationship with her, enough to keep her from making the same mistake with the drugs?

Jul 13th 2006 10:17PM Normally I don't spend much time on something this insignificant, but I just have to comment on this subject. Let's reason this out as best as can be done. First, Tom and Nicole could not have biological children, whose fault? No one knows for sure. Then they split, Tom supposedly looking for a mate to have a child with, finds Katie Holmes and all of a sudden she is pregnant in no time. Seems like it was almost a euphoric pregnancy for Tom while Katie was not allowed or preferred to keep quiet. Strange don't you think that a young mother for the first time is so eerily quiet? Does does his religion have something to do with this? All of these fact's play into the strange behavior of Katie and Tom. Was there a pretended pregnancy while the adopted child waited in the wings to appear at the correct time? Could be? Or did Katie fake the pregnancy with different size pillows to look right according to the date of the adoption? If there was one? Or did Katie contine trying to get pregnant and while she say's she delivered a birth of Suri, she has been said to be pregnant again so soon? It's all speculation and if Tom and Katie are trying to make it so secretive or pad their pockets, they are are making quite a foolish show for the world to think and wonder about. The rumors of Tom's sexuality, the rumors of a "no show baby", the rumors of an adoptions, or another almost immediate pregnancy. I hope that no one pays what the Cruise is asking for as it is exploitation and nobody has an offspring that is that valuable to the public. The child should be priceless to the parents and them only. And he abmonished Brooke Shields for taking an anti-depressant for post partum depression? I think he needs some serious professional help as he ahs brain washed that poor young Katie, acts as if he is the second coming of Christ and does really odd behavior and makes weird comments. Well, enough and I am through with this subject forever. If anyone wants to add to it though please feel free. Also if he's so moralistic why no marriage?

TV Over/Under: How long until the first Rosie/Star throwdown? {AOL TV}
May 24th 2006 8:59AM I'm so sorry that Star will have to sit that close to the "obnoxious, loud mouth, self loving, hideous Rosie". If her breath is as nasty as the words and opinions that come out of that mouth, than I hope that Star is geared up with plenty of " air freshener" at least enough to use until she leaves. Speaking both figurativly and truely. Barbara, your age and possible oncoming dementia is showing by your selection of Rosie replacing Meredith. Rosie's demeanor is like one scratching fingernails across a challkboard, very, very annoying and irritating. Along with the demise of the "View" will be Rosie trying to once again make it as a co-host. Which by the way someone will have to remind her that she WILL NOT BE THE HOST". This will probably be very hard for her to conceive since she is use to no one telling her how, when or what to say. Oh, well thank goodness I have better things to do than watch that mess. I've been meaning to scrub my toilets with a toothbrush for awhile now and this will be my chance. Either that or go bungi-jumping. Either way I will be accomplishing something and having fun doing it Way to go Star on your decision not to sit next to or appear in the same show as Rosie and I hope that Elisabeth and Joy are next. And as everyone knows, Barbara will stop short of nothing to get and keep an interview or show going. Hope she likes the sight and smell as she has sunk to an all time low.
