Mar 23rd 2011 8:34PM I agree with Dr. Watkins that the "Al Roker" types make whites comfortable enough and will promote them versus brothers and sisters who do not smile when there is nothing funny or scratch where they don't itch. It happens in all professions especially in corporate America. In the military, only the people that make whites feel "comfortable" get promoted. Hence my short career.

I am concerned about the female/lawyer statement that she "followed to gawk." Even though she had every right to, it was not a SMART thing to do. Why follow someone who had threatened her with "grave bodily harm?" (Shaking my head...)
