Women Under 30 Losing 'Lady Skills' Like Cooking and Cleaning {MyDaily}
Feb 8th 2011 12:34PM After reading these comments, and I did read a lot of them because this is a subject that comes up all the time and it is funny to see the extremes, from one side to the other. There really isn't 'man' jobs and 'woman' jobs. It should be 'family' jobs and whoever has the time should do what they can to make a house run smoothly. If it falls on one or the other there will be resentment done the line.
Women Under 30 Losing 'Lady Skills' Like Cooking and Cleaning {MyDaily}
Feb 8th 2011 12:14PM You are incredible and I salute you!! I really mean that and am not being sarcastic. You obviously take pride in what you do for your family and it shows. I know I am a complete stranger and my opinion means nothing, but I respect what you do and it does make a difference.
Blonde in Lingerie and Wheelchair Gets Extensive TSA Pat Down in Oklahoma {AOL Travel News}
Jan 12th 2011 9:47AM This lady looks like a robot, the way she is blinking her eyes, either that or really really stones. anyway, she came to the airport like that, she wasn't stripped, all she had on over that was a coat, so she either wanted some press or she was so stoned she forgot to get dressed, you know in a hurried rush to get to the airport. too funny
Chris Tucker's Short Sale Situation {Luxist}
Jul 30th 2010 10:03AM you know this happens to a people of all races, just on different levels. What happened to Chris is the same thing that happened to the millions of americans who lost their own homes, the money you were making when you first purchased the property stops coming in, and the value of the property goes down. Chris Tucker is very funny, and if he goes on tour he can sell out venues. Not a doubt he can come back from this.
Fees, fees, fees: 10 annoying charges consumers face {WalletPop}
Jun 2nd 2010 11:59AM Ticketmaster is the worst. I paid between $10.00 and $15.00 dollars a ticket over the price of the show. When you are getting four or more tickets, this really adds up. I think a 'conveinance' charge should be for the order, not each individuel ticket. also, you should save money by printing the ticket yourself, not pay for saving the company the time and resources to send you the tickets. I used to go to a lot shows and concerts, but I don't anymore because even if you can afford 50 bucks a ticket, your looking at a total cost of 150 for two with all the extra fees.
Upfronts News Roundup: Bubble Show Updates {AOL TV}
May 24th 2010 10:48AM I can't believe Cold Case will not continue. That is and has been one of the best written and acted shows on TV. Every episode is top notch, and I cannot believe CBS would cancel such a great series. I never miss an episode, even though they all leave me in tears, even the repeats, I TiVo every sinlge one.
SpongeBob is getting married {AOL TV}
Oct 14th 2009 10:27AM I have been watching SB since it started years ago, when my son was young. We loved it then and I watch it occasionally with my little girl. I like SB so much better than kids shows where these 10-13 yr olds all have expensive cell phones, lap tops and ipods. They come and go as they please and the parents just smile and there is no real responsibilty taught or learned. At least my kids won't unconsciously try to imitate SB like iCarly
Potent Quotables: Chris Brown on Elvis' Moves {Spinner}
Jan 8th 2008 12:55PM Elvis didn't steal anything and he didn't take other influences and make them "mainstream". He was blasted from all but a few of the "white" industry execs. He took gospel, country, and the music of his Mississippi roots and combined them into something so different he had a hard time getting it to the people. He started a revolution by being so popular that the industry had to jump on his bandwagon to make their money.
Elvis took all the flak for his moves so he should get the credit for it. He opened doors and he opened ears. He will always be the King.
