Dec 20th 2011 7:18PM I guess I wonder why the home is a 3k foot home on an acre lot for two people... He could build four homes for vet families on that. Also, the property taxes in Texas are pretty high because there is no state income tax. I don't know the benefit of iving something like this unless there is a plan in place for the utilities, the gift tax by receiving a 250k ift, and property taxes and insurance. While I think these are wonderful gestures, how often do you hear of the people with the over the top "move that bus" houses that end up causing burdens for the recipients?

Jul 5th 2011 9:02AM Why are they favoring gifts over being with their mum? It has nothing to do with anything more than a Windsor tradition of the FAMILY getting together for that holiday. Her children are still part of that family. In fact, Bea is the Queen's favorite grandchild. But that doesn't mean that an ex should be included or even a consideration.

She has a room in a very large house. I think he is being generous and may be very fond of her. As for Will and Kate standing up for her and insisting she be invited, why should they? Perhaps THEY don't want her around, either.
Her children are old enough now to decide to spend Christmas with Mummy or go with Dad to see their grandmother. That has nothing to do with Sarah. Sarah quotes Eugenie in People in that she did what every little girl wants - she married a prince. She was also divorced by one and she should move on...

Jul 5th 2011 7:36AM She is no longer family and just because she was the last royal bride doesn't entitle her to anything. She's just not included nor should she expect to be. She will get to go to her children's weddings. Why does anyone feel sorry for her?
