Jan 2nd 2008 3:30PM I agree with you cook. Teguila may not be the new wine, but it is a drink that deserves respect. Approximately two years ago, a bartender introduced me to a "tequila neat." It was basically a double shot of Patron in a snifter. It is now my drink of choice. From Cuervo to Don Julio and so forth. I love tequila. I saw a show on the travel channel that explained that in Mexico, Tequila is almost always sipped and not done in shots. When it's sipped (in moderation), there is a much smaller chance of ending up on cops or Girls/Guys Gone Wild. Give it a try.
