The Apple iPhone {Engadget}

May 25th 2007 5:24PM I'm sure that they'll have trademark issues as well ... but these are going to sell fast, and even if they run out you can always try to win one I guess. Came across this youtube video, this concierge company Red Butler always gives away crazy stuff.

The PlayStation 3 charity auction -- win a 20GB PS3! {Engadget}

Dec 19th 2006 9:46PM CARBONIZE,

You go ahead and spend $800 for charity. At the end of the day you'll feel all warm and cozy inside (or as warm and cozy as you can get in bloody english weather) and I'll be playing my FREE PS# and spending the $800 on new games.

For any of you that want to try and win one for free, here's that link again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV4w8ijwGY0

Learned about this from digg too!

OnStar could go black for millions of analog subscribers in '08 {Engadget}

Nov 22nd 2006 5:37PM On Star is ridiculous. They are very limited in providing help. My car came with a free 6 month trial but I didn't bother renewing. You can sign up for a real Personal Assistant or Concierge Service and pay much less. I call my PA and have them do anything and everything for me. This company never advertises on t.v., they rely on word of mouth so I'm doing my part, check them out www.RedButler.com - Cheers, Jen

Are Personal Concierge Services Worth it? {Luxist}

Oct 16th 2006 3:31PM I think they're worth it if you use the services. Like a gym membership, it aint any good unless you get your butt to work. I get concierge services through my building, although it is a personal service rather than a person downstairs. So wherever I go, I can call them up and they'll take care of me. They're called redbutler.com, I wonder if they're related to that other company Eric is talking about. So yes, they are extremely helpful, if you utilize it to the fullest extent, calls, reservations, ideas, that sort of thing. Stephen -

Are Personal Concierge Services Worth it? {Luxist}

Jul 24th 2006 2:27AM The problem with Concierge / Personal Assistant type services are that they bill hourly. Makes me think of my attorney overbilling for every second they can. I switched to a company that offers an easy fixed monthly fee less than 20 bucks a month... with 3 levels to suit your needs. You get a membership card that gets you discounts at local bars and restaurants too. They're only providing services in los angeles but I think I saw on their site that they were headed to newyork, san diego, las vegas ... Check them out http://www.labutler.com

What's weird is that the computer only shows 57GB available!!!??? Is OSX and iLIFE sucking that much space from the GetGo! Perhaps there are audio files in garage band or some other application that I can erase if I don't use them .. can anyone advise. Thanks!
