Verizon Wireless Claims Coverage in 233 Countries... Out of 192 {Switched}
Apr 15th 2010 5:21PM I live in the Northeast, Fairfield County in fact. I tried Verizon when I got my very first cell phone,yrs. ago. Luckily I lived on a dead end street (in Stratford) because I'd wind up walking almost to the corner(even though my house was the 5th on the street)just to pick up a decent connection! I really hate Verizon. Their computer card doesn't work any better either! I also have a home in NC. I switched to SPRINT years ago and never had one problem anywhere I go. I never experience dropped calls or lost calls,where I can't get through. So I personally don't think it's where you live, it's just Verizon. After all they don't even know how many countries there are in the world, how can they know where to put up lines? Oh and MacArthur,I thought the subject was VERIZON what does the President have to do with cell phones? Why do people have to bring our President up at every subject discussed on any site? I voted for him, he's doing fine. get over it.
Brittany Murphy's $7.25M Hollywood Hills Home Off the Market {Housingwatch}
Apr 6th 2010 8:43PM No where in the article does it say that her mother lives in the house, nor does it mention her husband living there, it says, 'Until her death the home WAS occupied by Murphy, her mother and husband'. She left the entire ESTATE to her mother, that doesn't necessarily mean her mother is still in the house and it's wrong to jump to such conclusions. Being the executrix to a will entails more then just selling the house, I've been the executrix to more then one sibling in my family. It can be a hard job, long and emotional. From selling a house to paying off taxes to closing bank accounts and handling the funeral, it can go on for a yr. or more, until finally the estate itself is closed by court papers.Then you can finally grieve.I hope I don't ever have to do that again.
The Randolph Duke Home, Estate of the Day {Luxist}
Sep 5th 2009 11:01AM The pics may not be flattering, I don't, I never saw this house in person. But it looks scary, a modern day Dracula's mansion. He bought it for $2.25 mil. I'd have to see more, it looks like it's worth 3 million. It's ugly.
But the "view below" is beautiful.
