Jul 28th 2011 6:40PM I did watch her and was also quite surprised and annoyed at how much she seemed to resent being pregnant and the horrible time she had. I was waiting for her to talk about how blessed she was and how much she enjoys the babies, etc. but she never really got much into that at all. She should have talked to Lopez, Jolie or Julia Roberts, all giving birth to twins and (seemingly) loving the blessing.
In regard to her, I have never seen the attraction. Her mannerisms drive me nuts. The constant tossing of her hair back. I have also never liked her singing and all the 'finger' movements either. I have seen her ONLY when my husband watches her, other than that, I would never watch her alone. And, YES, SHE IS TOTALLY SELF-ABSORBED! UGH.

Jul 27th 2011 8:05PM I saw her and was also amazed at how much she talked and complained about carrying the twins. As a side note, she would add what a blessing it is, but I REALLY wonder if she resents them because it WAS SOOOOOOO HARD ON HER. Clearly, having twins is no picnic, but I didn't see Lopez or Jolie or other celebrity mothers complain SO VERY much in public as Carey has. Very disturbing.
And, her mannerisms drive me nuts. The gently flipping of her hair constantly and the way she moves in her chair, etc. They have always driven me nuts. I'll bet she was just a joy to be with during her pregnancy. Poor Nick. Ugh.

I love the fact that she can wear gorgeous gowns and jeans and still look great. But, put on some weight! She is wayyyy skinneir than she was when they first met or even 1.5 years ago. Don't want her to get an eating disorder.

Feb 15th 2011 5:06PM Loved the pic of Sheen w/o his teeth. You KNOW all these celebs have their teeth fixed and that is why they all have the SAME TEETH and same smiles. Same for all the newspeople/anchors and anyone on TV. All white, perfectly straight teeth. Ah, if only I could afford it. LOL

HIs books are a portrait of the times. His language is a reflection of the times just as much as his characters are.
Bring the books back as they are and teach our children what it was REALLY like and not what we want them to think it was like.

Jul 6th 2010 12:55AM Honestly, I don't know why people continue to spend money on such a study! OF COURSE, MONEY BUYS HAPPINESS. How many people do you know would not be thrilled -AND HAPPY- to be debt free? Pay off mortgage, credit card bills, education, etc. and be able to travel and do all the fun things a person wants.
The only time I might be able to see that money would not buy happiness is when you have so much that it no longer carries ANY value. What money does NOT buy is a cure for cancer and other diseases that rich people continue to die from.

Jun 19th 2010 11:18PM Money ONLY becomes a non-issue when you have way more than you need! Money DOES buy happiness if you believe living a comfortable life with good housing, food, clothes, transportation and some left to enjoy the fun things the world has to offer. All those things take money folks! When you do not have money and always have to worry about it, the stress alone can ruin your health.
I will say that money does not buy TRUE love, but it definitely buys happiness. The last time I checked, I could not pay my mortgage with M&M's!

Jun 10th 2010 11:53PM I hope they do find her. While I certainly do not condone any parent allowing a child to do this, I must say this girl has lots of courage and guts to even try. OMG...no way would I go alone on such a voyage. I would be scared to death. As far as her age, we have VERY young people in the Olympics all the time. Fourteen-year old gymnasts who train every single day for hours and hours; skiers, skaters. All of these efforts are grueling and dangerous as well.
