Jun 7th 2007 3:15AM I want one, but there is no way I will accept a 2G phone in 2007. With such a focus on internet browsing, there is absolutely no reason the iPhone isn't 3G. My 2 year-old Samsung has 3G.
I'll think about it in 2008 when a 3G model is released. Until then...

May 2nd 2007 2:48AM I have wondered this exact same question. What I really need is something that is essentially an LCD screen with storage. Currently, I read them on my laptop. I've considered getting a tablet PC for this, but I can't find one that I think is thin enough [or that I could turn on its side]. Even if the battery life isn't too hot, I don't read for more than a few hours at a time. I still have no idea what to get.

Sep 25th 2006 7:44PM Engadget biased much? I seriously thought you wouldn't buy into the hype. First, 47,600 yen is only $409. Not only that, but we are used to games being this expensive in Japan. 8,800 is not unreasonable and an extra $8 for next gen isn't too much of an increase. As such, you can expect PS3 games in the US to increase by about the same amount - to $59.
