Steven Tyler on 'American Idol': 'The Show Sucks' {PopEater}
May 25th 2011 3:05PM When Haley left all the star power went with her. I don't like country western music so these too are just boring to me.
Rachel Maddow: Gay People Have a Responsibility to Come Out {PopEater}
Apr 27th 2011 6:03AM I didn't realize people were obligated to let everyone know what is their own personal business! Sure, many gay people do share that fact but you have the right to privacy and to choose to whom you tell things and what you will or will not tell them.
The Six Best Workout DVDs -- Tried and Tested by Devotees {MyDaily}
Mar 29th 2011 1:05PM Sorry, but I go to an actually belly dance class and my teacher who is in her 50s, is fit and has great strength, endurance and flexibility as are many of her students of many ages. Some belly dancers are larger sized and that's their business. However, if you do anything on a consistent basis, and this includes belly dance, and watch your diet you will be fit, not flabby. Now if you're a pear shape with a bubble butt (like me, lol), you're always going to have that even with exercise, but you will just be the fit and trim version of your body shape.
How to Wear the Spring 2011 '70s Disco Trend {Stylelist}
Mar 26th 2011 9:01AM Basically you just need to save your clothes because the fashion industry recycles the styles over and over again. Nothing really new and innovative comes up anymore. Let's not have 60s 70s or 80s inspired fashion, how about something new?
New 'Project Runway' Champ: 'I Really Believed I Was the Winner' {PopEater}
Oct 31st 2010 7:23PM Don't forget the harem pants. Give me a break, every woman big or small who wears them looks like she has droopy drawers, or floppy hips. I think people just design things to make women look ridiculous. Jumpsuits too, horrible.
New 'Project Runway' Champ: 'I Really Believed I Was the Winner' {PopEater}
Oct 31st 2010 7:19PM Whoever dressed Jessica Simpson should have been fired. That dress made her look big - I know some of you will say she's not at her thinnest, she's not but in more flattering clothing she would look a lot more beautiful and streamlined. Also Heidi Klum, if the pockets of those red pants poke out like that it means they are too tight across the seat! How can a model not realize that and walk out on the runway with two ears sticking out of her hips? Well fitting clothes are the first rule of fashion.
New 'Project Runway' Champ: 'I Really Believed I Was the Winner' {PopEater}
Oct 31st 2010 7:07PM I think quite a lot of what we've seen is nothing new, for example Christian Siriano, while I liked his looks on Project Runway, I felt I had seen them already on the runways in previous years. I feel the same about Gretchen, I have the distinct impression I've seen something similar before which really isn't a good thing for a designer. They were nice enough pieces but nothing exciting, although I really love the necklaces, I think they are a great interpretation of Native American breastplates. It seems they get confused on Project Runway between trying to encourage fashion which can be avant- garde but then they backpedal to more marketable designs. Which is it?
LeBron James to Announce Decision From Greenwich, Conn. {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Jul 8th 2010 10:54AM It would have been nice if he had actually chosen a really needy Boys & Girl's Club to make his announcement & generous donation (like the one in Bridgeport, CT which serves some of the poorest kids who could use the inspiration and support). I guess though he went for the photo-op instead in front of a landscaped club in "tony" Greenwich.
Tasteful or Tacky? The Garter Toss {Aisledash}
Jun 21st 2010 2:17PM Hello, it is tacky for someone to reach up your skirt and pull off your garter in full view of a roomful of guests. It is also tacky to have some random person put a garter up your leg (unless it's you and your partner in the privacy of your space). You wouldn't let someone on the subway reach up your skirt so not at a wedding either. Let's go for classy weddings rather than trashy.
Michelle Obama Hears Immigration Plea From Girl Worried About Deportations {Politics Daily}
May 20th 2010 1:36PM I'm curious as to how the Mexican president explains his country's treatment of illegal aliens, i.e. Guatemalans who cross into Mexico for work which is far more aggressive and deadly than anything we do in the US.
