Legendary Actress Elizabeth Taylor Dies at Age 79 {PopEater}
Mar 23rd 2011 10:52AM I watched all of her films and all of her tv shows my whole life. I wrote to several actresses and actors long time ago, thanking them but I kept meaning to write her another letter of thanks for all she had done for people in so many different ways and I'm so sorry I haven't done it. I'll write one to Doris Day immediately. I lost my entire family back in the 90s' in my early 40s'. I've watched all the movies with my family that when any actress/actor dies, I feel a great sadness to see parts of my life as I know it no longer on Earth, feeling more alone than ever.
The Underbelly Project -- A Secret Art Gallery Beneath the Streets {Asylum}
Nov 2nd 2010 5:07PM The words, "Gang Related" and images of gangs, crossed my mind as I looked at each graffiti/art but looking at each art, the way they are applied, shadows, highlights and details of an American Culture so powerful, it all just makes the words, "Gang Related" fade into nothingness.

Nov 2nd 2010 5:00PM Fascinating that artists went down that deep beneath the city to paint their imaginations. What a rush! What a trip!!!! What an adventure!!! WHOA! A REAL LIVE SURREALISM!!! It's better than dope and alcohol and all kinds of psychological addictions put together!!

Nov 2nd 2010 4:54PM I made a comment prematurely. I read the article after I made the comment, not before. Now I understand. 4 stories beneath the city? how did it end up 4 stories deep? Build up of the city layer by layer? This is fascinating.

Women in Rock -- Then and Now: Doris Day / Taylor Swift {Spinner}
Oct 2nd 2010 10:53AM I grew up on Doris Day. My mother was a singer and she sang every song Doris Day sang. We both watched all of Doris Day movies. My mother passed away 1994. My whole family died within 3 years of each other. I know exactly how Doris Day feels about her own loss. She cares for dogs. I care for cats. Feral cats just showed up, knowing I am kind hearted. I love all animals and cats are no exception. I don't want Doris Day to die. She represents my mother and I. I've been told while growing up I resembled Doris Day. Sometimes Patty Duke. Like Doris Day I remain slim and health-concious and totally a homebody. I miss Doris Day so much because the TV has not shown her movies and tv series in a long LONG time. I identify with her in every way. I wish she'd be my friend because I miss my mother so much.
