Trend Spotlight: Animal Prints {Shopping Articles Blog}

Sep 29th 2009 6:10PM Unless you're a vegetarian, saying no to fur is a bit hypocritical. I think fur should make a comeback. It's like leather, really. Plus, it's so soft.

Protesters arrested at Wall Street rally {Daily Finance}

Apr 4th 2009 2:44PM Wall Street is not stealing from us. If you want to know who steals from us, look to our government. What gives them the right to tax us up to 40% on our income (federal, state, and city taxes combined) when we get virtually nothing back by paying taxes? Without saving Wall Street, our economy would be in even deeper water. The only way we can create new jobs is to recapitalize the financial system and this starts with Wall Street whether you like it or not. Arrest all anti-capitalists!

Hearts on Fire Diamonds, Better Quality or Just Better Marketing? {Luxist}

Dec 5th 2007 8:36AM The cut of a diamond really has a substantial impact on how brilliant a diamond is. It is a fact that is scientifically proven. Diamonds that have been cut to maximize brilliance cost more not only because it takes at least four times longer to cut and polish them, but also because much more of the original rough diamond is polished away. Like my Dad always said, good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good. If you put a Hearts On Fire diamond next to an ordinary diamond, you'll notice the difference immediately.

Here's a great video showing how diamonds are cut and polished...
