A Custom-Built Mansion in Riverside, Calif. (House of the Day) {AOL Real Estate}
Sep 12th 2012 10:22AM Dear Arthur Caputo:
Jealous? Envious? Coveting? Sure, like so many. Well don't be, we all use pretty much the same crappers! I would hope this provides some few the desire to push themselves to achieve, to accept only their personal best and nothing short of it.
Our homes all have pools, large lanai's a bar, entertainment center and acre's of land and yeah, even a bank vault with combo. Plus security systems. However, KISS =keep it simple stupid. WE KNOW the costs of maintenance of such properties and don't complain. My end of the family, well we are now retired, enjoying the grandkid's, and we travel, we travel a lot. But this place seems to lack one ingredient important to us, warmth. My thirty five room home with two entertainment centers, four car garage and a driveway where we could easily park over one-hundred guest autos while our own cars were either in the four car garage or a private parking space just outside. Yes, we live big, we also are highly philanthropic, on of our personal targets is providing better opportunities for education to those who otherwise could never afford it. I don't just start with college level, but go into middle schools to learn of the best, if challenging proseptcts. I'm not interested in lavish, just comfy cozy, heck my own chair used to have holes in it until a certain lady had it redone. WE Worked, we planned, set goals, and each of us started our own business and provided jobs for folks right here at home. I live by the phrase; Money is like fertilizer, ya gotta spread it around to make things grow. So get to work - sitting around bitchin about what you don't have is non productive. BE thankful for what you have, if you've your health and love of family you are quite better off than many.

Barcelona Airport's Cleaning Crew Protests ... By Throwing Trash {Gadling}
Jun 4th 2012 3:45PM As we were departing upon entering mostly torn up newspaper and some empty plastic bottles greeted us. The strikers moved through only the upper terminal making some noise, blowing whistles and chanting. It was great to see folks exercising their freedoms in a really great country. Hope Spain can work it's way out of it's fiscal difficulties soon.

Jun 4th 2012 9:17AM Ooopsie! Sorta sorry for the typo''s, shoulda, coulda read, ( no others exist in our known universe so vile, so arrogant as he). You all KNOW the Donald is an utter and complete total self-delusional )0(. Best retract my wish to send him to a planet that never did us any harm. Perhaps we couldd just send him into --------> SPACE the final frontier...

Inside Look: NYC's 'Convertible Brownstone' (VIDEO) {AOL Real Estate}
Apr 6th 2012 10:42AM Could satisfy the necessity for possessing high tech gadgetry except for one little flaw-the second floor opening in NYC onto the street seems most unlikely. Now if it were relocated to the first level so one could access a private garage and therefor free parking space then sale of this property would be guaranteed and quite prompt. It's not about opening my living space onto the clamor and fumes of NYC, it's about the luxury of convenience. By the way, someone let the water flow onto the floor in one bath--->

Mar 7th 2012 10:24PM Like the media star, twinkle twinkle the only warmth is the fireplaces when lit. Randy Andy really is way over rated, cute that he still comes across as so insecure in a dog eat dog industry. So where to Andy? Upper east side, certainly not Soho, or will you occupy Wall Street, well the Battery anyway. From the photos we share some of the exact same likes, no wonder it's referred to as cliche`. Good luck dumping it.
Rent Oprah's Chicago Co-op for $15,000 a Month {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 18th 2011 7:46PM Not worth it... Hard to believe with all her contacts she could have actually spent time in those cramped quarters. Like the 'ba' windows, some of the wood but overall it requires major renovation no renter could ever implement. It is definitely for single person not a couple. I know better spaces nearby...
Former Citigroup CEO Sandy Weill's Central Park Penthouse Hits Market at $88 Million {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 11th 2011 7:05PM /5th Avenue and CPW??? Hugh? OMG! Who writes this stuff? I well know the view, the building but will someone please inform the writer or editor or (proof reader, does anyone still use a proof reader?)CPW and 5th Ave are on opposite sides of Central Park. The view in the photos is in fact looking east from CPW across the park toward 5th Ave. The view on the left, why CPS of course..Don't we all get a kick out of pointing out someone else's errors?
