Dec 2nd 2007 4:15PM Ferrari GTO exaggerates greatly. He is living in the past, not the present and the future. The Taco trucks will be gone (they serve the construction workers); there is no crime rate to speak of in Napa; almost no homeless people (and their shelter is in another part of town). The Oxbow District is becoming a terrific destination. Places like Bounty Hunter, Jarvis Conservatory, and the Napa Valley Opera House, not to mention Copia and the Public Market, are a short walk away. And coming soon two more downtown hotels, including a Ritz Carlton. I'm a Napa resident out Redwood Road and have no vested interest in the project. My interest is in accuracy.
