Jun 15th 2010 9:25AM I think it totally depends on the airline. I was able to book roundtrip tickets from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale in May on American for 25,000 miles, though I have no status in their program anymore. On United where I am Premier Executive, there weren't even 50,000 mile tickets available. I'm reconsidering my use of United- why fly an airline exclusively if you can't even use the miles?

Apr 1st 2010 3:56PM The quality of Lane Bryant clothes went downhill when Charming Shoppes purchased the stores from the Limited Group. The clothes are cheaply made and ill-fitting. The fabrics used don't drape and flow as a plus size article of clothing should. You have to try on a multiples of the same item because each fits so differently. Add the bad quality to the selection of clothes for fun (lots!) vs. clothes for work (not many!) and you have the imporession that Charming Shoppes doesn't think a big girl should work for a living. I'm surprised the stores lasted this long.

Dec 18th 2008 4:06PM I am a hairstylist. These days many hairstylists have specialties. Some only cut. Others only color I would not feel comfortable working on African American hair simply because I have no experience in doing so. I have baby fine, highly processed hair. Not everyone can cut my hair well- and it has nothing to do with race. It has to do with EXPERIENCE.

Feb 26th 2008 10:12AM If you have a tight fit, make sure you personally measure the appliance before you buy it- do not believe the dimensions posted on the manufacturer'e websites. Many of them are wrong- I have learned that by personal experience.
