Top 400 taxpayers in the U.S. pay a 17 percent tax rate {Daily Finance}

Aug 17th 2009 10:20PM Never mind that each of these taxpayers forked over millions of dollars to the government. That's not enough, is it?

Another legacy of President George W. Bush: massive income inequality {Daily Finance}

Aug 14th 2009 4:59PM Those who work harder deserve to make more. There is no "right" to "income equality." If one wants more income, one should work harder. And since the top income earners pay almost all of the income taxes, they are the only ones really able to receive tax cuts, aren't they? Those who don't pay taxes can't get a "cut." But shame on those naughty rich people!

Judge's ruling against LifeLock both good and bad for consumers {WalletPop}

Jun 3rd 2009 10:21AM Hi Tammy - What a clever comment! Your insults and attacks are cute! What have I argued? See, my point is that you're attributing an argument to me, when I never actually made that argument. What I've argued is that the LifeLock "guarantee" is essentially worthless, and you can see that by a careful reading of it. At the end of the day, I find little to no value in the "services" LifeLock provides, and I've explained why I think that in the article. Thanks for participating!

Judge's ruling against LifeLock both good and bad for consumers {WalletPop}

Jun 2nd 2009 12:35PM Yes, of course LifeLock is taking advantage of paranoia. They provide almost no value to their customers, and do almost nothing to protect them. So of course they're profiting off paranoia.

May 29th 2009 7:24PM Kurt - I'd love for you to prove that "nearly every" customer of LifeLock has had no problem with identity theft. You can't prove it. But even if you could... do you realize that the vast majority of people in the U.S. have NOT experienced identity theft? If LifeLock customers haven't been victims of identity theft, I assure you it's not because LifeLock has prevented it. That's what they'd have you believe, and that's precisely one of the reasons why I think LifeLock sucks.

May 29th 2009 5:11PM I don't see LifeLock as "helping consumers." I see them taking advantage of consumers' fears and playing on the paranoia surrounding identity theft to profit. They add almost no value, and their "guarantee" is essentially worthless.
