Nov 20th 2007 12:21PM I especially like the comment about donating the money and then dressing like the person has money, followed by a shameless ad for a website. I could say the same thing about all the computers that are being used to type these meaningless comment, all of which cost more than $119. Don't you get it? We buy stuff because we like STUFF. In the end, not much of ANYTHING we own is actually a necessity, and is therefore as worthless as those guilded tool sets. Remember in 2nd grade when we learned about mankind's 3 basic needs: food, clothing, and shelter? Well, think about all the stuff we own that goes way beyond a needs basis. If you want to really make a difference, get off of your computer and start going out to homeless shelters and feeding those people yourself. If you don't want to, that's up to you. But reverting to an ad hominen fallacy to try and change someone's mind is wrong.
