Jun 23rd 2011 3:45PM A word from you government: Don't smoke because we want you obey us and be submissive, but while you do smoke we want part of the proceeds. We need the money to funnel to our contributors, who in return will keep us in power.
How Will New Cigarette Warning Labels Affect Shop Owners? {AOL Small Business}
Jun 23rd 2011 3:41PM We need to add labels to alcohol:
Warning may cause VD and/or unwanted pregnancy, may kill others in traffic, may make you think you are interesting in conversations, may cause loss of employment, may embarrass your family, may make you dependent on government hand outs to sustain yourself.
We also need to add to the ID of those that voted for this act:
This person has a strong need to control the lives of others.
Most Small Businesses Displeased with Federal Economic Policies {AOL Small Business}
Jun 6th 2011 3:13PM Until we know what the rules will be how can we play the game. We don't want to hire someone just to tell them that we have to let them go because of new government regulations or tax laws.
Yes, there is a high failure rate among small businesses. Anyone that has started a small business knows that it is not a 40 hour per week job and the money at risk is not one weeks pay. It is everything you have saved and can borrow. It means you don't just update your resume. It probably means you go broke and may never recover.
The large corporate CEO's that people love to hate are NOT business owners. They are EMPLOYEES. If they fail they get fired and move on to another company, possibly makingmore money.
Small business owners put everything on the line. They may forego income for a long time. Often when the business starts making money they are the lowest paid person there with the risk of loosing everything. They don't own politicians that can stack the deck in their favor. They don't even have a level playing field.
Average Small Business Spends Up To 255 Hours and $2.3 Million on Tax Compliance {AOL Small Business}
Apr 18th 2011 5:20PM The tax code and all government regulation are to the advantage of larger companies. It makes the burden disproportionally heavier on small business. That discourages competition. The have the money and politicians in their pockets to keep the little guy out. Innovation is most harmful to large companies. They can not respond as fast. They own politicians that put up road blocks. Most small business owners, if they have lunck it is a sandwich at their desk. Jeff Immel of GE has lunch at the whitehouse.
Passenger Kicked Off Horizon Air Flight For Being Too Tall {AOL Travel News}
Apr 3rd 2011 7:03AM Horizon credited him the value of his ticket on a fututre flight. What if he chooses another airline?
I was on a South West flight where the crew went nuts on a passenger for complaining about something. I was not even involved in the situation. That was in the early 1980's. They offered me $50 credit on my next flight and I said keep it. I have never flown South West since.

Why Did TSA Pat Down Kids, Adults Getting Off Train? {AOL Travel News}
Mar 1st 2011 11:37AM It is not about security. Of course that is what we are told. It is to sell more of the x-ray machines. The company that makes the machines is in bed with the administration.
If the people become outraged enough over the pat down, they will more readily accept the government spending billions on the machines. Which will make friends of the administration richer and will result in more contributions for reelection.
A Million Plug-in Cars by 2015? The President's Numbers Are a Stretch {WalletPop}
Feb 25th 2011 11:57AM These electric cars are only an interim step. They are to pay off GE for political donations.
The real future in transportation is FLYING CARPETS. You know like in Ally Babba and the Fourty Thieves.
The only problem is the Carpets are made in Persia (another Middle East problem) and we have more than 40 thieves in congress.
If you think this is a dumb idea, at least it is not as dumb as electric cars.
Walmart Losing Business, Looks to Retool {WalletPop}
Feb 25th 2011 11:44AM I have been to Walmart several times. I went voluntarily. I was satisfied the the price and the products that I bought.
From the wide spread hate I see online, most of the other people shopping there must have been there at gun point.
OR could it be they actually chose to go on their own.
