Aug 19th 2010 4:29PM Interesting. But unfortunately, this may actually lead to a decrease in road safety - there are studies that show drivers who feel more safe generally tend to take MORE risks when behind the wheel.
See Freakonomics and later SuperFreakonomics for details.

Oct 22nd 2008 5:53PM Maybe the Canadian Dollar should be looked at more closely?
Sep 18th 2008 1:25PM Isn't this precisely the problem in the first place though? Since borrowing was so easy and cheap, the average consumer did too much of it and became dizzy with spending. Instead, if they were forced to save and pay a little more interest on their loans, they might have been more prudent with their money.
Just my thought.
Sep 15th 2008 12:25PM The best way to lost weight is to fight off the cold. I find that when I diet I feel terribly cold (I drink lots of water to "bloat myself full", but all that liquid makes you feel very very cold). Build a warm fire, don't think about the huge meals that you're missing (have a small piece of turkey, a tiny bit of stuffing, NO potatoes and only a sliver of pie as a present for yourself) and try to beat out the cold.

Apr 18th 2008 4:05AM One liners are amazing, and I liked the one second flashbacks but they never seem overused. I can't even remember last week's at all, if there were any.
When I watch Family Guy, I'm expecting them, but with 20 Rock, they're sparse enough that the ones they do are actually funny and the rest of the one-liners are left to linger in our minds.
Apr 18th 2008 3:55AM I caught that too! They'll have to give out his name sooner or later.
