Ask Gadling: Where do all our TSA checkpoint confiscated knives and corkscrews end up? {Gadling}
Aug 23rd 2010 12:34PM I haven't read throught every comment, so please excuse me if someone else has made this point.
I understand confiscating items deemed as potentially dangerous. However, with all the stories about luggage being broken into, lost or stolen, I don't believe that items like the two bottles of perfume I had taken from me because the bottles contained more than 2 ounces are thrown away or destroyed. I believe that airport security allows airport employees to "shop" for choice items (knives, perfume, alcohol, etc.) before sending the remainder off to be disposed of.
I just don't believe all the items are being thrown away.
Oprah Has Her Eye on the Tiger {PopEater}
Dec 3rd 2009 6:37PM I hope Tiger Woods DOES NOT appear on Oprah. He's got enough of an image problem without catering to America's self-appointed arbiter of good taste and appropriate behavior. He can stand on his own and rebuilt is image. Otherwise, he really is like all th others.
A Catholic Court? Let the Arguments Begin {Politics Daily}
Oct 5th 2009 12:52PM What a silly way to draw attention to yourself. Shame on you! In today's America, people vote according to their party registration first, their financial status second, and maybe according to religion third.
Don't Put 'Em in Canton Yet {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Oct 5th 2009 9:43AM Are you kidding? I agree that annointing Sanchez before he's had a real chance to develop is wrong. However, Tony Romo is no rookie and somewhere along the way his development has become arrested. He's been in the league long enough to be a better, more consistent quarterback. He no longer has the excuse of TO being a distraction, so what gives?
Kelsey Grammer, real estate tycoon {Luxist}
Nov 12th 2007 10:10AM Any reason why you're portraying Kelsey Grammar's business savvy as an aberation? He's not the first and there's really no excuse for other celebrities to be so ignorant of financial matters when most can afford all the expertise and education money can buy.
Tom Brady Reportedly Offered $1 Million to Model Calvin Klein Underwear {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 8th 2007 4:33PM Since Captain America has already fathered a child the new-fangled way (wihout the benefit of marriage), taking pictures in his underwear? Big deal.
